and Richardson counters by clinching up.

Richardson is fighting off a takedown attempt but MacLaughlin is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Richardson to the mat. Richardson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
MacLaughlin pushes down on Richardson 's leg and manages to get into half guard.

MacLaughlin seems to be working for a kimura but Richardson defends the submission attempt.

Girl lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Girl throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sinclairs head.

Oh but Sinclair is tightening it up a little... Girl has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Girl reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Girl taps out! Nice BJJ there by Sinclair!

Sonnen shoots in for a takedown but Boxing Champ shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Boxing Champ throws a fast counter high kick but Sonnen manages to duck under it in time.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Boxing Champ tries to close the distance and clinch but Sonnen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Boxing Champ ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Sonnen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Boxing Champ to the mat! Boxing Champ manages to get full guard.
Boxing Champ really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sonnen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Boxing Champ has momentary wrist control but Sonnen slips an elbow through the middle.
Boxing Champ wants to stand but Sonnen is controlling the position.
Sonnen content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Sonnen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Boxing Champ is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sonnen, into his guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Sonnen loads up on a big left hand. Boxing Champ felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Sonnen looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Boxing Champ can't hide his disappointment, as Sonnen celebrates the victory.
