Maldi comes into the arena with Loituma TECHNO! blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Malvin Maldi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Capone! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maldi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Capone manages to work his way to half guard, despite Maldi's best efforts. Capone flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Capone slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Capone keeping full guard, as Maldi tries to pass. Maldi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Capone is on top in guard.
Capone drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Capone jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Maldi trying to control the position.
Maldi wants to stand up but Capone is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maldi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Maldi wants to stand and escape but Capone is having none of it. Capone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Maldi is trying to keep Capone in close.
Capone being controlled here momentarily. Maldi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Capone gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Maldi misses with a wild combination.

Maldi is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Maldi throws a nice looking combination but Capone bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Capone tries to clinch up but Maldi circles away and keeps his distance. Maldi looks to land a combination but Capone avoids it well. Capone looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Maldi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Maldi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Maldi just misses with a punch to the body.
Capone defending well as Maldi loads up on a big left hand. Maldi throws a series of punches but Capone avoids them all with ease. Maldi with a poor takedown and Capone counters with a nice double leg into guard. Capone drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Capone jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Maldi controlling Capone's posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maldi is looking for a triangle but Capone pushes his legs off easily.

Maldi keeping moving, preventing Capone from controlling successfully. Maldi controls Capone momentarily but Capone frees himself. Capone controls from within his opponent's guard. Maldi has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Capone avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Maldi pushes Capone off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Maldi gets the takedown into side control. Maldi is looking to take a break and control but Capone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Capone is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Maldi off and has taken his back! Capone has the hooks in. Maldi is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Maldi tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Maldi wants to hold on but Capone pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Malvin Maldi will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A lazy left from Maldi finds it's target. Maldi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Capone can pounce on him.
Maldi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Capone swivels and escapes. Maldi looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Maldi keeps the fight on the outside. Maldi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Capone moves in looking to clinch but Maldi pushes him off. Capone is looking to clinch but Maldi is avoiding it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maldi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Capone moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Capone wants to clinch up but Maldi keeps it at a distance. Maldi thuds a left hand into Capone's body. Capone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Maldi swats him away and circles back towards the center. Capone stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Malvin Maldi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Maldi lands with a cross. Maldi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Capone moves away. Capone scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Maldi throws an overhand right that lands on Capone's shoulder, as Capone tries to avoid the shot. Capone is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Maldi throws a combination that misses and Capone counters with a nice leg kick. Capone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Maldi paws at him with a jab and circles away. Capone rushes Maldi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Nice elbow from Capone. Capone comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Capone tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Capone keeps control of Maldi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Capone stalling the fight.

It looks like Malvin Maldi has been cut. Maldi trying to stall but Capone improves his position.

Maldi is refusing to be controlled, as Capone sits in half guard. Maldi tries to kick Capone off but Capone keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Capone looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Maldi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Maldi trying to control from the bottom.

Billy Capone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Malvin Maldi's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Capone is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Maldi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Capone is trying to control but can't.

Capone gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Maldi tries to stand and escape but Capone is controlling the position. Capone is pressing down on Maldi's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Maldi is posturing up here but Capone has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Maldi tries to roll out but it's too tight and Maldi has to tap! Slick submission there by Capone!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smack throws a sloppy head kick and One moves out of range easily. Smack connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between One's hands. Smack bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. One tries to clinch up but Smack circles away and keeps his distance. One could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Smack fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. One looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Smack takes the fight into the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Smack breaks the clinch.
One shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. One tries to clinch enabling Smack to counter with a crisp jab. One looks to clinch and Smack counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. One is breathing heavily. Smack clinches up against the cage. Smack manages to break the clinch.
Smack closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Knees in the clinch landing for Smack.
Smack escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Smack wants to clinch up but One keeps it at a distance. Nice uppercut lands for Smack. That snapped One's head back.
Smack drops One with a nice combination! Smack dives into One's guard, looking to finish!
One is rocked! Smack wants to stand but One is controlling his posture from full guard. Oh One is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round. Smack trying to control but One is working from the bottom. One seems to have got his legs back now. Smack tries to stand but One is controlling from the bottom. Smack pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. One is keeping the position for now. Smack is looking to stand up but One won't let him. Smack looking to pass the guard. One has his foot on Smack's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smack works his way back into a safe position though. One is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Smack is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Smack forces his way into half guard. Smack really doesn't want to stay on the ground with One. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Smack trying to control the action but One is working from the bottom. One wants to get back to full guard. One is trying to control but can't.
One lands a couple of sideways elbows. Smack prevents One from improving his position. One is not content to let Smack control the position. Smack wants to stand but One has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Smack throws a jab when One was well out of range. Smack slow jab from One misses its intended target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One shoots and misses and Smack cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Smack misses with a straight left. Smack tries to clinch there but One circles away.

Jack Smack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smack throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Smack scores with a jab. One throws out a leg kick but Smack moves out of range and One only half commits. Smack misses with a head kick.
One shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smack as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gucci One. That's going to take a lot out of him. One keeps the fight on the outside. Smack stuffs the takedown attempt from One. One gets slowly back to his feet. One avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Smack might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. No joy there for Smack, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
One shoots in but Smack avoids the takedown attempt easily. One tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Smack swivels and escapes. Jack Smack is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

No luck for One with that takedown attempt. Smack lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
One gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Smack counters with an outside leg kick.
Smack lands with a cross. One steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Smack. That one must have hurt. Smack sizes up One with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. One shoots in for a double leg but Smack sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from One. One has a takedown stuffed. One uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smack.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! One fails with a takedown attempt. One closes the distance but Smack moves to the side and Smack counters with a lovely straight right hand! One wants to clinch up but Smack keeps it at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Smack cracks One with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. One throws a sloppy head kick and Smack moves out of range easily. Gucci One is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. One fails with the takedown and Smack counters by clinching up. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gucci One. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smack breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. One throws a leg kick but Smack sees it coming and moves out of range. Smack fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with One, pushing him back against the cage. Smack lands with a short shot to the head. Smack is breathing heavily. Smack escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Smack scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Smack lands with a nice body punch. A head kick from Smack lands but One takes it in his stride. Smack cracks a nice hook into One's ribs. Smack scores with a sloppy right hand. One should have avoided that one. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! One misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
One ducks under a wild hook from Smack. One with a poor takedown and Smack counters with a lovely shot to the body. One fails with a takedown attempt. One shoots for a double leg takedown but Smack sprawls well. He's pushed One's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Smack as One shoots in. Smack swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. One drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smack has been the more effective fighter overall so far. One is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Smack knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smack tries to bench press One off him but One keeps the position. One looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Smack tries to escape but One is in control. One trying to control the position but Smack is working away. Smack sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. One is trying for a kimura here. Smack looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! One wins by kimura!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Davis looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Davis misses with a takedown attempt - Carter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Davis steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Carter. Davis drives through and clinches with Carter against the cage.
Davis is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Davis is stalling here.

Carter looks to clinch and Davis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Davis. Davis misses with a short punch on the inside. Carter jumps into guard, dragging Davis to the mat.

Barry Davis's cut is getting worse. Davis is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Carter has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Davis's face.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Creed looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Creed tries to pass to full mount but Rastalli defends it. Creed is taking a breather. Rastalli says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Rastalli avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Creed. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rastalli manages to escape and get back to his feet! Rastalli shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rastalli was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Creed is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Rastalli tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Rastalli has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Creed avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Rastalli tries to pull guard but Creed holds him up against the cage and eventually Rastalli drops back down to his feet.

Rastalli utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Creed is fighting to break Rastalli's control of his arms but Rastalli is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Creed is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Creed advances position into side control! Rastalli sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Apollo Creed has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rastalli keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Apollo Creed comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rastalli has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today.
