This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Shaka Zulu! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Zulu dives in for a single leg takedown but Puro sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.#CL2# Zulu rushes Puro and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Pinochet tries to close the distance and clinch up but Goose swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pinochet looks to clinch #TD2# and Goose counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Pinochet (0) vs (2) Goose Pinochet pulls Goose in close to his closed guard and prevents Goose from doing any damage or advancing position.
