The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manowaru is looking to land body kicks.
Manowaru throws a jab when Horse was well out of range.
The crowd cheers as Horse lands an impressive looking overhand right. Manowaru doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Hiro Manowaru has been cut.

Manowaru has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Manowaru tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Horse's elbow.

Horse works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Horse sends Manowaru crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Horse is motioning to the referee to let Manowaru up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Horse is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Manowaru throws a body shot but no joy.
And Horse responds with a good body kick, but Manowaru manages to step out the way in time.
Horse takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

A slow jab from Manowaru misses its intended target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Horse! But no joy.
Manowaru misses with a body shot
and Horse counters with a big right hand! Oh Manowaru is in trouble here! Horse follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
