With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Brute! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.

Nice straight punches there by Farquharson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Farquharson. It looks like Jon Brute has been cut. Brute looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Farquharson! Farquharson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Brute scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Farquharson to see if he's OK. Brute trying to control the position but Farquharson is working away. A lull in the action here as Brute stalls from top position. Brute connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Farquharson some visible discomfort.

Farquharson tries to get to full guard but Brute has control of the leg. Brute works his foot free and advances to mount. Brute pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Farquharson tries to hold on but Brute postures up. Brute trying to control but he's not successful this time. Farquharson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Brute wants to sweep here but Farquharson controlling him for the moment. Farquharson being controlled here momentarily. Brute wants to stand up but Farquharson is controlling him. Farquharson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Brute wants to get back to his feet but Farquharson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brute can do anything to dispel that myth. Brute is pulling down on Farquharson's head to control his posture. Farquharson wants to stand but Brute has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Brute striking off his back. Brute is trying to keep Farquharson in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Brute keeping moving, preventing Farquharson from controlling successfully.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Brute tries to clinch up. Farquharson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Brute misses with a takedown and Farquharson counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Brute pulls guard successfully.
Farquharson wants to stand but Brute is controlling his posture from full guard. Farquharson wants to stand and escape but instead Brute has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brute working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Farquharson's head. Brute wants to control from the top but Farquharson keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Farquharson lands with a nice combination. Brute backs away looking to recover. Brute doesn't succeed with the takedown and Farquharson counters with a straight right hand. Farquharson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Brute misses with a straight right. Farquharson scores with a one two! Brute had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Farquharson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That has opened up Jon Brute's cut even more. Farquharson throws out a powerful jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Farquharson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Farquharson wants it to stay on the feet. Farquharson scores with a push kick. Brute misses with a takedown and Farquharson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Malcom Farquharson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Brute. Brute is breathing heavily. Brute shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Brute takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Malcom Farquharson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Brute falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Farquharson smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Kanu throws a hook to the side of Walters's head but Walters sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Walters plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Walters lands with a hook. Kanu tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Kanu takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. An inside leg kick lands from Walters. Walters jabbing away but nothing is landing. A lazy left from Walters finds it's target. Walters moves in looking to clinch but Kanu pushes him off. Kanu with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Walters to score with a decent uppercut. Walters uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kanu. Walters throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kanu's head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Walters tries to clinch but Kanu is having none of it. Kanu swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. A big left from Walters misses. Kanu slips a jab and a cross from Walters.

and Kanu counters with a lovely straight right hand! Walters throws a leg kick which misses Kanu's front leg but catches the back leg as Kanu tries to avoid it. Kanu takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Victor Walters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kanu circles away from the clinch attempt.
Walters goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Walters swings for the body but Kanu moves out of range.
Walters looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Kanu throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Walters sizes up Kanu with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Walters throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

It looked like Walters was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Kanu avoids the head kick by Walters.

and Kanu counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Walters thinking. A good leg kick by Walters. A decent looking cross lands there for Kanu. Kanu's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. A head kick misses from Walters. It seemed like Kanu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. A jab lands there for Kanu. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Victor Walters dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Kanu throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Kanu might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Walters has got the better of the exchanges. Jab by Walters. A good leg kick by Walters. Walters scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Walters ducks right into an uppercut from Kanu. Walters misses with a wild body shot. Nice defenses there by Walters. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walters takes a swing at Kanu's ribcage but misses. Kanu takes one on the button. Walters looks to score with a jab to the body but Kanu is just out of range. Walters fails in his attempt to clinch. Kanu might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Walters throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Kanu counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Walters is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kanu can do to turn this around? Kanu on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Nice shot by Walters. Kanu is rocked! Kanu gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Walters gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Kanu is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

A shot to the body from Sauer misses and Hunt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. It looks like Sig Sauer has been cut. Hunt ducks under a wild hook from Sauer. A little feinted left hand from Hunt on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Sauer delivers a nice body kick. Sauer looks to throw a body kick and Hunt counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Sauer swings widly with a right hand

Hunt keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hunt drops Sauer with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sauer looks back up at him and smiles so Hunt waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Sauer is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A jab from Hunt misses. Sauer cracks Hunt with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Hunt avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Hunt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hunt drops Sauer with a straight right hand, right on the button! Hunt follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
