The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taamu tries to work over Meallan's front leg with a kick but Meallan checks it. Taamu lands with a cross. The fighters circle momentarily. Taamu darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Taamu throws a lazy body kick letting Meallan counter with a right hand. It looks like Tua Taamu has been cut. Meallan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Meallan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Taamu.

Taamu is looking to land body kicks. Tua Taamu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Taamu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Taamu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Meallan is looking to counter punch. Meallan tries a head kick but it misses.

Taamu connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Taamu has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Taamu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Meallan, pushing him back against the cage. Taamu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Taamu connects with a solid leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice body kick there by Taamu. Taamu throws a half hearted mid kick. Taamu tries to clinch up but Meallan circles away and keeps his distance. Taamu slips a jab from Meallan. Meallan is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Meallan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Taamu throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Meallan on the side of the head. Good work by Meallan as he checks the leg kick. Taamu pivots, looking for a leg kick but Meallan is out of range and Taamu settles back down. Taamu tries to land a front kick but Meallan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A nice leg kick lands there from Taamu. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tua Taamu will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Taamu moves into range and clinches up with Meallan. Meallan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Taamu feints and then cracks Meallan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Meallan down. Taamu looks for the body kick but Meallan saw that one coming. A low kick from Taamu is predictable there and Meallan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Meallan punishes Taamu's body with a nice straight punch. Taamu has Meallan up against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Taamu throws out a loose jab but Meallan uses good head movement to avoid it. Taamu seems to have recovered his senses. Taamu's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Meallan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Taamu scrambles back to his feet. A shot to the body from Taamu misses and Meallan counters with a big left hand that crumples Taamu! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sheamus Meallan! A relieved looking Sheamus Meallan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Romero has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Prophet tests Romero's chin there with a solid looking shot. Prophet misses with an uppercut. Romero misses with a looping left. Prophet uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Romero. Prophet bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Romero's head backwards. Romero ducks under a wild hook from Prophet. Romero uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Prophet. Romero slips a straight right by Prophet. Prophet drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Romero scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. The Prophet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Romero scores with a nice strike. Bizihwaile tries to land a sweep but no joy. Scaletta has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bizihwaile can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Scaletta controls the pace. Scaletta working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Scaletta in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

With a record of 16 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Black Alligator! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 25 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dominique Bell! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Alligator can pounce on him.
Alligator lands with a nice combination. Bell backs away looking to recover. Bell fails with the takedown and Alligator counters with a slapping leg kick. Alligator tries to work over Bell's front leg with a kick but Bell checks it. Bell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. My spies in Danaher Death Squad inform me that Bell has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Alligator prevents Bell from taking his back. Bell is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bell jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Alligator manages to avoid the submission attempt. Alligator is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bell off and has taken his back! Bell is trying to break free.
