Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Reggie Larkin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nikolai Tsavieva! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsavieva misses with a hook. Larkin pushes Tsavieva up against the cage in a clinch. Larkin tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Tsavieva avoids it. Larkin gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Larkin missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Tsavieva won't allow Larkin to pass to mount. Tsavieva trying to control but Larkin postures up.
Larkin trying to mount his opponent but Tsavieva defends it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tsavieva is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Larkin is tapping! Great win for Tsavieva!

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tubby Steed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alen Sola! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oooooh!!! Steed has knocked Sola down with a huge combo! Steed steps away and waves a wobbly Sola back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! It looks like Alen Sola has been cut. Sola leaves Steed with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Steed changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sola tries to avoid it but Steed manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sola to the ground. Sola escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A nice side step and Sola releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Steed looks to land a body kick but Sola moved away. Sola throws out a counter right but Steed avoids it with no problem. Steed looking to score a takedown here. Sola is defending well but Steed drives through and ends up in Sola's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Steed looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Steed prevents Sola from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steed pushes down on Sola's leg and manages to get into half guard. Sola pushes Steed off looking to stand but Steed dives back in and keeps control.
Sola tries to kick Steed off in order to stand up. Steed Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Sola tries to escape but Steed is in control. Steed is looking to take a break and control but Sola is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Steed tries to advance to mount but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Steed advances nicely into full mount. Steed content just to control the position here. Sola is trying to stand but he's just given Steed his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steed looking for the choke but no joy. Sola trying to get back to his feet but Steed is in full control for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sola defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Steed's arms. Steed looking for the choke but no joy. Steed has the hooks in. Sola is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sola is keeping busy.
Sola is trying to stand back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steed trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
I really don't envy Sola right now.

Sola wants to get up but he can't break Steed's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Sola stopping the sweep attempt from Steed. Steed has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sola can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sola wanted to stand there but Steed had control of the position. Sola really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Steed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steed looking to control.
Steed looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Steed has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Sola is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Sola looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tubby Steed. That's going to take a lot out of him. This has been an exciting period of action! Sola displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Steed.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steed moves to clinch but Sola breaks away and Sola counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Steed. Sola throws out a counter right but Steed avoids it with no problem. Steed looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Steed passes into half guard. Steed is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sola can do to turn this around? Sola makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steed shoots and misses and Sola counters with a left to the body. Some bone on bone action there as Sola checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A nice side step and Sola releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Tubby Steed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sola takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Steed fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sola has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Steed throws a head kick but Sola moves out of range.
Steed shoots for a takedown but Sola saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. It seemed like Sola was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Steed takes the fight into the clinch. Steed blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Steed gets control of Sola's arms and successfully pulls guard. Steed will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steed trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Steed trying to control the position.

Steed is working an open guard so Sola takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Steed with a poor takedown and Steed takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Steed tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sola sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Steed somewhat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Alen Sola will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Alen Sola's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Steed misses with a takedown and Sola counters with a nice uppercut. Steed clinches up against the cage. Steed escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sola lands a big uppercut and Steed crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Steed looks OK. Sola waves Steed back to his feet! It looks like Tubby Steed has been cut. Steed dives in for a single leg takedown but Sola sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Sola looks like he wants to counter punch here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Steed fails in his attempt to clinch. A little jabbing left from Sola on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Steed closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sola circles away. A countering left hand to the body from Sola misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tubby Steed. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sola takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Sola throws a body punch but Steed moves out of range.

Sola stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sola wants it to stay on the feet. Steed drives through with a takedown into Sola's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Sola pushes Steed off and gets back to his feet.

Steed looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Sola misses with a looping left. Steed misses with a takedown and Sola counters with a stiff right hand. Steed is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Sola lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Steed up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Sola from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Steed's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Oh Torres is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Torres ducks into an uppercut from John and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

Bassole pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bassole thows a body kick. Bridges tries to catch it but that hurt him. Bassole ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Bridges chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bassole can pounce on him.

Bassole lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bridges backwards. Bassole gets through Bridges's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Bassole digs a right hand underneath Bridges's ribcage. Bridges let out a lung full of air as it connected. A head punch blocked on the inside by Bassole. Bridges's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Bassole drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bridges pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bassole drops Bridges with a left right combo! Bassole follows him down to the ground into side control.
Bridges is rocked! Bassole is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Bridges looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bassole gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Bridges is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bassole lets go of the hold and Bridges can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Rhea has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jozinovic avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Rhea wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rhea has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jozinovic uses from the top position. Jozinovic has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rhea to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jozinovic is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rhea pulls down on the head and he's put Jozinovic to sleep! This one is all over!
