Brooks wants the takedown. Fezzik is fighting it off but Brooks persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Fezzik's guard against the cage.
Brooks must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ledanch dives in looking to finish as Fuerte flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Ledanch's strikes! Ledanch is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Fuerte's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Fuerte was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Pisarek's coaches at Brazilian Top Team + Ricardo Arona have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
