We've been informed that Manners has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

As Manners looks to move away, Machado throws a big counter combo but Manners just gets out of the way.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Manners crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Machado - the referee stops the clock and Manners gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Machado. Manners manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Machado changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Manners looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Manners tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Machado cranks the arm and Manners screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Manners, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
