Diaz advances position into side control! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Gabriel Dias! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Collins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dias tries to avoid it but Collins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dias to the ground. Dias escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dias wants to counter with a clinch but Collins pushes him away. Collins stuffs the takedown attempt from Dias. Dias gets slowly back to his feet. #TD# Collins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Collins (2) vs (0) Dias Collins passes easily into side control. Nice work. Score +3 for passing guard: Collins (5) vs (0) Dias Dias tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Collins wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Dias struggling a bit here.#SUB# Collins has hold of Dias's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dias seems comfortable defending it but Collins has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dias is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dias is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Collins couldn't care less - he's delighted!
