Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenny Knight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 24 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oleg Liguy! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knight throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Liguy's waist but Liguy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Knight off to one side. Knight looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Knight gets caught napping as Liguy dives in and scores a takedown. Knight manages to retain guard. Liguy landing with the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Liguy with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Liguy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Liguy trying to control the position from guard on top but Knight is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Liguy scoring with punches to the head and body. Liguy chips away with some ground and pound. Liguy cracks Knight with a solid left hand. Liguy is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Liguy postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Liguy with a flurry of punches that miss. Liguy connects with a couple of short punches. We've been hearing good reports from Knight's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Liguy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Knight is rocked! Liguy is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Oh Knight is still in real trouble! Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ben Tambling! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 45 - 33 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trent Punchy! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Punchy dodges the punch combination from Tambling.
Punchy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tambling moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Punchy, as that shot connected.
Tambling throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tambling has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Punchy finds it's way round the side to connect with Tambling's head. Punchy with the inside leg kick. Punchy lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Tambling misses with a few strikes there.
Punchy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tambling misses with a wild body shot. Trent Punchy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Punchy scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Punchy moves forwards but Tambling connects with a nice, crisp jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tambling sizes up Punchy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Punchy goes for a double leg but Tambling avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tambling continues to drive forward. Sloppy strikes from Tambling. Those never looked like landing. Punchy lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tambling backs up against the cage.
Punchy lands with a good body shot. Punchy keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tambling. Punchy throws a right and a left that both miss. It looked like Tambling wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Tambling fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ben Tambling is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tambling throws a shot to the body.
No joy there for Tambling, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Punchy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Punchy scores with a slapping inside leg kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tambling misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's going to take a lot out of Trent Punchy. Tambling takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Naranbaatar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Amana's guard. Naranbaatar looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Amana pushes Naranbaatar off looking to stand but Naranbaatar dives back in and keeps control.
Naranbaatar is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Amana! Amana is trying to stand but he's just given Naranbaatar his back. Naranbaatar is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Amana with him. Amana is trying to defend but Naranbaatar has an arm under the chin now! Amana grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Alcantara waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Leighton. Leighton tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Alcantara manages to circle out of the way. Leighton tries to keep at a distance but Alcantara has taken the fight into the clinch. Alcantara looks to throw an elbow but misses. Alcantara misses with some punches.
Leighton has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Leighton has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Alcantara is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Alcantara throws a punch but it's blocked by Leighton. Leighton wants to stall.

Nice straight punches there by Alcantara. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Alcantara. Alcantara throws out a loose jab but Leighton uses good head movement to avoid it. Alcantara scores with a jab. Leighton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Leighton trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Leighton is really struggling to control Alcantara but he's trying to hold on to the position. Leighton is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Alcantara is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Alcantara is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Leighton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Leighton defending well as Alcantara loads up on a big left hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Leighton scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Alcantara manages to work his way to half guard, despite Leighton's best efforts. Leighton wants to control but Alcantara is keeping him busy. Leighton is looking for a kimura but Alcantara is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Leighton to get the leverage. Leighton is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Leighton looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Leighton takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A low kick from Granit is predictable there and Proudhon counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Granit shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Proudhon eats them both and turns towards Granit to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Granit misses the shot to the body. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Proudhon here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Granit works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Granit throws a jab but it's blocked by Proudhon. Granit tries to land a front kick but Proudhon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A solid leg kick lands there for Granit.

A nice side step and Granit releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Granit uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Proudhon.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Proudhon scores with a decent looking hook. Proudhon thuds his right hand into Granit's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Pierre Joseph Proudhon is winning the standup battle so far. Granit throws a looping overhand right but Proudhon ducks down to avoid it. Proudhon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Granit appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Proudhon lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Gracie has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Marijuana Gardens in the buildup to the fight. Gracie throws a low kick, looking for Dio's leg but Dio calmly moves out of range. Gracie with a nice calf kick. Gracie lands a jab to the head.
A lazy left from Dio finds it's target. Dio looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well. Dio tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dio fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gracie looks to land a right hand but Dio moved out of range. Dio takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses. As Dio backs away, Gracie returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Gracie is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dio. Gracie misses with a body punch
and Gracie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gracie looks for the body kick but Dio saw that one coming. Dio takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Gracie has control of Dio's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dio regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Dio tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Dio dodges the ground and pound from Gracie. Dio is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Gracie connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dio some visible discomfort.
Gracie working away. Gracie has hold of Dio's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dio seems comfortable defending it but Gracie has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dio is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dio is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gracie couldn't care less - he's delighted!
