And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 0 losses; James Tuati! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Tuati looks for a takedown but Collins sprawls well. Collins goes for a double leg but Tuati avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tuati continues to drive forward.#TD# Collins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Collins (2) vs (0) Tuati Collins wants to pass to mount but Tuati is defending the position. Collins stalling away here and it's allowed Tuati to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Tuati looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Tuati controls Collins momentarily but Collins frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Collins controlling from the guard. Tuati is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Collins. Collins knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Tuati works his foot free and advances to mount. Score +3 for passing guard: Collins (8) vs (11) Tuati Tuati can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Collins is looking to escape. Tuati is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.#T12# Tuati controlling the pace for now. Tuati is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Collins reverses the position - he's now on top in Tuati's guard. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Collins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tuati does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
