These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pumpkin Pie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Strawberry Short Cake! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.

That's going to take a lot out of Strawberry Short Cake. Short Cake is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Short Cake as he avoids it easily. Short Cake swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Pie shoots in for a double leg but Short Cake sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Short Cake moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pie has clasped his hands together around Short Cake's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Pie working away. Pie trying to control the position but Short Cake is working away. Short Cake struggling a bit here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pie scoring with punches and elbows. Pie advances to mount. That's two minutes gone in the round. Pie is landing with some decent strikes but Short Cake is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Pie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Short Cake wants to hold on but Pie pushes him away. Short Cake is trying to escape the mount.
Pie wants to control the pace but Short Cake is squirming around nicely. Pie lands a heavy elbow. Pie trying to control but Short Cake is having none of it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pie dominating with strikes here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Short Cake is looking to escape. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Short Cake tries to reverse the position but Pie maintains control. Pie controlling the pace for now. Pie has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Short Cake's face.
Short Cake tries to hold on but Pie postures up. Short Cake defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Pie. Pie avoids the attempt from Short Cake to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Short Cake keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Pie lands a big shot there that rocks Short Cake but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Pie scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Short Cake keeping hold of Pie's head, controlling as best he can. Pie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Short Cake sees it coming and defends easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pumpkin Pie dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Short Cake drives through with a takedown into guard. Short Cake working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Short Cake trying to control the position from guard on top but Pie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pumpkin Pie overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Short Cake wants to pass the guard but Pie is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Pie is really struggling to control Short Cake but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Pie fails with a takedown attempt. Short Cake closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Pie tries to get back to half guard but can't. Short Cake wants to stand but Pie is controlling his arm. Pie is not content to let Short Cake control the position. Pie is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Short Cake trying to control the position but Pie is working away. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Short Cake tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Pie is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Short Cake can do to turn this around?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Short Cake decides to stand back up. Short Cake steps back and let's Pie get back to his feet. Short Cake stuffs the takedown attempt from Pie. Pie gets slowly back to his feet. Pie displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Short Cake. Pie appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Pie fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pumpkin Pie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Short Cake feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Short Cake forces his way into half guard. Short Cake is looking to take a break and control but Pie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pie manages to get to full guard.

Strawberry Short Cake showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Pie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Short Cake swivels and escapes. Pie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Pie scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Short Cake wants to stand but Pie is controlling the position. Pie throwing strikes from guard but Short Cake blocks nicely. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Short Cake throws a sloppy head kick and Pie moves out of range easily. Short Cake closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Short Cake lands in his opponent's guard. Short Cake passes Pie's left leg - he's now in half guard. Short Cake is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Short Cake lands with a punch from half guard. Still in half guard, Short Cake seems content to control. Short Cake wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pie keeps working. Short Cake drops an elbow to the side of Pie's head. Pie wants to sweep but Short Cake has passed to side control! Short Cake is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Pie will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Short Cake wants to control for a moment but Pie uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Short Cake is keen to just control but Pie is a slippery customer. Short Cake controlling the action here. Short Cake seems to be looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Pie is trying is best to control the position here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice sprawl there from Short Cake as Pie shoots in. Short Cake gets a clinch. Short Cake has Pie pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Short Cake pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Pie tumbling to the mat - Short Cake dives into Pie's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Short Cake wants to control from the top but Pie keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Strawberry Short Cake comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Short Cake has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

He's got his arms around Hanus's waist but Hanus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pie off to one side. Hanus drops down looking for a counter takedown but Pie sprawls and moves away. Sandra Hanus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peanut Butter Pie. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pie is defended easily by Hanus. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hanus gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hanus is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hanus has escaped and now he's on top! Pie has a closed guard, preventing Hanus from standing up. Pie looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Hanus would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hanus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Pie is tightening it up a little... Hanus has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hanus reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hanus taps out! Nice BJJ there by Pie!

Bob was covering up waiting for the punch and Bap finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bob really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bap pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bob is keeping the position for now. Bob controls Bap momentarily but Bap frees himself. Bap with a nice head shot there. Bob will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bap stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bob swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bap slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bob wants to hit a sweep here but Bap passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bob there! Bap in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Bap lands a big elbow. Bob is rocked! Bap postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Bob in real trouble here! The ref calls for Bob to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bibim Bap! After the fight, Bibim Bap was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Boss scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cruller doesn't seem bothered though. Boss with a nice cross. Boss ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Boss uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cruller has time to react. A punch combination from Boss misses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boss throws out a loose jab but Cruller uses good head movement to avoid it. Cruller avoids the body shot from Boss.
Cruller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Cruller lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Cruller distracts Boss with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Cruller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cruller postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Boss looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cruller's corner is telling him to maintain position. Cruller postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Cruller lands a couple of decent looking shots. Boss looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cruller has picked Boss up and slammed him! Boss can't keep hold of the triangle and Cruller manages to pass to side control! Cruller works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Cruller taking a breather here. Cruller lands a few punches from side control. Boss tries to buck Cruller off but Cruller is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cruller lands an elbow. You can see the frustration on Boss's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Cruller working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Cruller advances nicely into full mount. Cruller with a couple of short strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cruller punishing his opponent with strikes. Cruller lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Boss hang on? Cruller pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Boss is rocked! Cruller fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Boss is still in real trouble! Can Cruller finish him? Boss takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Cruller's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
