This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Aniketh Chin! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Vern Schullacks! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Chin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Schullacks tries to avoid it but Chin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Schullacks to the ground. Schullacks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Chin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Schullacks feints the counter takedown.#TD2# Schullacks throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chin was covering up waiting for the punch and Schullacks finishes the takedown easily into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Chin (0) vs (2) Schullacks We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB# Chin looking for subs off his back but Schullacks has passed one foot through into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.#CL# Dorn moves into the clinch.#TD# Dorn has Broden pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Dorn pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Broden tumbling to the mat - Dorn dives into Broden's guard. Broden seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. #SUB# Dorn drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Broden manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dorn has Broden in his guard.
