This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 13 wins and 5 losses; Able Archer! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 31 wins and 21 losses; Dado Mata!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Pavlov shoots in but Ribbler avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Pavlov or perhaps it was just good defense by Ribbler, which made it look bad.
Pavlov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ribbler as he avoids it easily.
Ibbe Ribbler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matvey Pavlov.
Pavlov dives in and grabs Ribbler's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ribbler pushes down on Pavlov's head and hops out.#TD2#

Pavlov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Let's hope that Pavlov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like Pavlov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
