Thunder comes to the cage accompanied by Battery- Metallica. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Meekus Thunder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Math Prush! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thunder steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Prush. Thunder misses with a double jab.
Math Prush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Prush works over Thunder's head and body with a nice combination. Thunder throws a wild body kick that Prush sees coming a mile off. Thunder connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Prush scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Prush is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Thunder. Prush takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Prush thows a body kick. Thunder tries to catch it but that hurt him. Prush misses with a low kick. Prush stalks Thunder and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Thunder's face. Thunder staggers backwards, shaken. Thunder throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Thunder throws a leg kick and Prush counters with a two punch combo. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Thunder looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Prush throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Thunder stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Thunder lands with a thumping leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Some wild striking there from Prush.

Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Prush rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thunder moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Prush lands a nice shot that snaps Thunder's head back.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Prush displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thunder throws out the jab. Thunder throws a lazy head kick and Prush counters with an inside leg kick. Thunder is breathing heavily. Thunder on the wrong end of a nice jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Math Prush dominated that round. That's time! Thunder's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Prush connects with a single shot there. Prush is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Prush connects with a high kick. Prush lunges at Thunder with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Thunder's hand. Prush closes the distance and clinches. Prush connects with a knee to the head.
Thunder is rocked! Stalling in the clinch from Prush.
Oh Thunder is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Prush scores with a nice hook to the head. Prush scores with an uppercut up the middle. Prush has Thunder pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Thunder is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Prush - that's hurt Thunder badly! Oh, another knee lands and Thunder is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Thunder doesn't seem to be complaining.

I think Bundy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Big Balls . Hood has chosen Carlos - The Silmarillia as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roederer lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Pikku Hiawatha has been cut. Hiawatha waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Roederer. Roederer takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Roederer throws a series of punches but Hiawatha avoids them all with ease. The fight moves into the clinch position. Hiawatha struggles to land a body shot inside as Roederer controls his hands.

Xiaojun takes one to the chin there. Xavier shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Xiaojun has a closed guard, preventing Xavier from standing up. Xavier stops Xiaojun from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Xavier has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Xiaojun is proving hard to escape from. Xiaojun working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Xavier doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Xavier manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Xiaojun is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Xavier rolls with it to try and escape but Xiaojun cranks on the arm and Xavier is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manres takes a kick to the side of the head. Knight is looking to score with low kicks. Knight throws a chopping leg kick but Manres manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Horrible takedown by Manres or perhaps it was just good defense by Knight which made him look bad. Knight throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Manres takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Knight gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Knight looking for a guillotine here but Manres defends easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Manres closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Knight wants to get back to full guard. Manres looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Knight controlling the position. Manres advances to half guard. Knight is trying to control but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Manres lands a heavy elbow. Manres looking to secure an arm triangle but Knight defends it well. Knight bucks up and throws Manres to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Knight stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Knight wants it to stay on the feet. Manres feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Manres postures up.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Knight.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Knight throws a push kick but Manres slaps the foot to one side. Manres steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Knight. That one must have hurt. Knight keeps Manres at a distance using the push kick. Knight chopping away at his opponent's legs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A decent looking body kick lands there for Knight. A solid leg kick lands there for Knight.
Manres stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Knight. Knight misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Manres shoots for a takedown but Knight saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Knight scoring well with a low kick there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Knight looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Caribbean Knight dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Knight lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Manres scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Knight looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Manres thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Knight's head. Knight tries to roll over but Manres keeps him under control. Manres wants to work for an arm triangle but Knight is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Manres working the body and head with strikes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Manres has hold of Knight's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Knight tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Manres cranks the arm and Knight screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Knight, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
