The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from mcKonner is defended easily by Mahecha.
mcKonner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mahecha pinned against the cage. Mahecha gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fire swivels and escapes.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fire tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fire to the ground. Fire escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jones tries to bum rush Fire with a series of wild strikes but Fire uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fire swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fire fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jones moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Fire keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
