And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hjallis Kalske!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalske misses with a takedown
and Bastard counters with a stiff right hand.
Kalske misses with a leg kick.
Bastard is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kalske.
Bastard lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Bastard has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kalske cracks Bastard with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kalske swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Bastard counters with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bastard lands a nice hook to Kalske's body. Kalske takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bastard keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bastard went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Bastard lands a left and a right that send Kalske crashing to the mat, dazed. Bastard thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Bastard avoids the head kick by Kalske.
Bastard seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Kalske looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kalske chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kalske misses with a leg kick.

Bastard cracks Kalske with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kalske looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bastard finish him?
Nice defenses there by Kalske.
Kalske thows a leg kick but Bastard checks it
and Bastard counters with a crisp right that sends Kalske to the canvas! Bastard follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Big Bastard is the new heavyweight champion!
In his post fight interview, Big Bastard started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
