And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Kimber!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimber throws a lazy right hand but Viden sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Viden walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kimber checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Viden dives in and grabs Kimber's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kimber pushes down on Viden's head and hops out.
Kimber misses with an uppercut. Viden saw that one coming.
A low kick from Viden is predictable there

and Kimber counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Kimber trying to control but Viden is working from the bottom.

Kimber's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Kimber tightens his grip and picks Viden up, before dumping him to the ground. Viden manages to land in guard.

Kimber misses with an uppercut. Viden saw that one coming.
Viden tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kimber paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Viden fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kimber to the ground. Viden is now in Kimber's guard.

Viden's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kimber is on top in guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Kimber has gone for a leg lock! Viden slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kimber's guard.

Viden has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Viden got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kimber has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Viden has managed to get both his arms back between Kimber's legs - danger averted.

Well, if Viden is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Viden seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kimber for as long as he can get away with.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kimber shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Viden pinned against the cage. Viden gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Viden tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Viden throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kimber's waist but Kimber gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Viden off to one side.
Kimber stuffs the takedown.
Viden closes the distance and clinches up with Kimber, looking for a takedown. Viden pushes Kimber against the cage but Kimber circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Victor Viden. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kimber has his foot on Viden's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Viden works his way back into a safe position though.

Kimber stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Viden swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kimber has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at EFC Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kimber has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Viden avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

I would just about give that final round to Billy Kimber.
I think Kimber has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

De Vries ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

De Vries clobbers Ottoman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ottoman takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Ottoman throws a low kick, looking for De Vries's leg but De Vries calmly moves out of range.

Donk. Ottoman catches De Vries right on the button with a cross.
Ottoman wobbles De Vries with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Ottoman dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts De Vries to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
