Connolly is fighting off a takedown attempt but Nycz is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Connolly to the mat. Connolly regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Nycz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Connolly is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Nycz rolls with it to try and escape but Connolly cranks on the arm and Nycz is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
