Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Apaga mas não bate. Damiano Silva told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Silva enables Leventreur to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Silva manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Silva looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Leventreur drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Leventreur jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Our spies down at at Mapinguari Guerreiro inform us that Silva has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Raw rushes Muller and presses him up against the cage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thomas Muller.
I think Muller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Beer counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Jones off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Beer follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Jones was out before he hit the floor.
