Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hax Molloway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, CJ Tripp!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molloway on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Molloway fails in his attempt to clinch.
Molloway throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Molloway moves to clinch but Tripp breaks away
and Tripp counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Molloway wants to clinch.
Tripp tries to land a front kick but Molloway steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Tripp connects with an inside leg kick.
Molloway on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Molloway tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Tripp finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Tripp scores with a push kick.
Tripp misses with a head kick.
Molloway fails in his attempt to clinch.
Molloway backing away here, and Tripp unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

Molloway shoots in and gets a takedown into Tripp's guard.

Tripp scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Tripp throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Tripp throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
An inside leg kick lands from Tripp.
Molloway tries to clinch up.
Tripp misses with a kick to the body.
Tripp throws out a loose jab but Molloway uses good head movement to avoid it.
Molloway seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Molloway misses with a takedown
and Tripp counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Molloway doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Molloway tries to close the distance and clinch but Tripp swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Molloway ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tripp moves away.

Tripp keeps Molloway at a distance using the push kick.
Molloway moves in looking to clinch but Tripp pushes him off.
A little jabbing left from Tripp on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Molloway looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Molloway tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tripp sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Molloway somewhat.
Tripp steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Tripp throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Molloway stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Molloway tries to clinch
and Tripp counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

A slow jab from Tripp misses its intended target.
Molloway bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
CJ Tripp is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Molloway moves out of range of the body kick.
Molloway seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Molloway is looking to clinch but Tripp is avoiding it.
Molloway checks a leg kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Molloway blocks the leg kick.
Molloway walks forward, straight into a front kick from Tripp.
Molloway throws a jab when Tripp was well out of range.
Tripp jabs at Molloway's body.
Tripp misses with a wild body shot.
Tripp jabs Molloway to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Molloway throws a head kick but Tripp moves out of range.
Tripp doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Tripp is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Molloway.
Tripp misses with a kick to the body.

Tripp takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Molloway gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tripp.
Molloway looks to score with a jab to the body but Tripp is just out of range.
Tripp shapes to counter with a head kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Molloway crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tripp - the referee stops the clock and Molloway gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tripp. Molloway manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Molloway misses with a looping left.
Tripp keeps Molloway at a distance using the push kick.
Molloway will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Molloway is breathing heavily.
Tripp scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Molloway takes one on the button.
Molloway on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Molloway is rocked!
Tripp lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Molloway is looking to close the distance but Tripp sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Molloway crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Molloway is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
