The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Checkert takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Checkert with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Holmes to score with a decent uppercut.
Checkert on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Checkert has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Checkert there as he acknowledges the shot.
A low kick lands for Holmes.
Holmes feints a jab promting Checkert to slip. Holmes then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Checkert slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Checkert closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Checkert takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Oh Checkert is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Checkert on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Holmes feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Checkert s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Holmes circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Checkert drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Holmes follows Checkert to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darrion Moss (ranked 6883 p4p, 3164 weight class) and Jestoni Hawk (ranked 711 p4p, 402 weight class). Moss kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Can't C Me. Jestoni Hawk struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Hawk stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hawk wants it to stay on the feet.
As Moss backs off Hawk throws a huge counter combo but Moss manages to avoid it all.

Moss shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hawk is trying to defend but Moss finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
