The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Young shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. McShane manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

McShane pushes Young off and scrambles back to his feet.
Young tries to close the distance and clinch up but McShane swats him away and circles back towards the center.

McShane changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Young looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
McShane looks up at the clock and then as Young takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, McShane smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
McShane moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
McShane's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Ze Generalest had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 177.5, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Zlatan Danielsson was cancelled.
