The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sidebar pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Sidebar.
Laguna throws a lazy right hand but Sidebar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Laguna uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sidebar.
Sidebar throws a lazy body kick
and Laguna counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Sidebar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Laguna manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Tank pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Shaw is looking for a counter combo.
Shaw tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tank defends well and Shaw ends up having to push Tank into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Shaw gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Tank regains guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Shaw is looking to stand up but Tank won't let him.

Lawrence shoots for a double leg takedown but Randle sprawls well. He's pushed Lawrence 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lawrence gets caught napping as Randle dives in and scores a takedown. Lawrence manages to retain guard.
Lawrence has momentary wrist control but Randle slips an elbow through the middle.
Randle works over Lawrence with some ground and pound from guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Randle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Randle is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lawrence has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Randle is looking to defend but Lawrence has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Randle! Lawrence pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Randle taps out and this one is all over!

Eagle walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Eagle tries to clinch up but Hunt circles away and keeps his distance.
Hunt looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Eagle misses with a series of wild punches.
Hunt fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Eagle on the side of the head.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Eagle closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hunt did well to prevent Eagle getting side control.

Hunt is trying to get back to full guard.
Eagle will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Eagle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
