With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Malaya Zemlya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yusuf Mammadov! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zemlya throws a one two combo.
Zemlya slips under a jab from Mammadov. Mammadov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Zemlya connects with a nice looking jab.

Zemlya lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Zemlya looks to land a right hand but Mammadov moved out of range. Zemlya is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Zemlya swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mammadov. Nice shot lands for Mammadov. Zemlya swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A little jabbing left from Mammadov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Malaya Zemlya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mammadov takes a swing at Zemlya's ribcage but misses. Mammadov drops Zemlya with a big left hand and mounts him. Zemlya is in big trouble! Zemlya is rocked! Mammadov swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Yusuf Mammadov! After the fight, Yusuf Mammadov was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Bouldershoulder seems to have got his legs back now. Bouldershoulder misses with a shot to the body and Roumain counters with a slapping leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Roumain cracks Bouldershoulder with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Roumain has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bouldershoulder to stand back up! Roumain pounces like a tiger and cracks Bouldershoulder with a vicious hook! Bouldershoulder is down but not out! Roumain follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Nelson Roumain ! A pretty intense looking Nelson Roumain took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.

With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Guido Carosella! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Thompson! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carosella ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A momentary lapse in concentration from Carosella enables Thompson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Carosella manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The fighters are working up against the cage. Carosella manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Carosella manages to break the clinch.
Carosella throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Carosella cracks Thompson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carosella lands a left and a right that sends Thompson crashing to the canvas! Carosella dives into mount looking to finish! It looks like Scott Thompson has been cut. Carosella can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Thompson is looking to escape. Carosella has control of Thompson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Thompson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carosella fails to advance to Thompson's back. Thompson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carosella working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. We've been hearing good reports from Carosella's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Thompson sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Carosella prevents Thompson from improving his position. Carosella is working for a kimura but Thompson is defending it quite comfortably.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Makarov throws an overhand right that lands on Ferguson's shoulder, as Ferguson tries to avoid the shot. Ferguson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Makarov throws out the jab. Makarov is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. The fighters circling - Makarov throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Makarov gets cracked there but stands up to it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Makarov misses with a right hand and Ferguson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Makarov tries to score with a low kick but Ferguson moves his leg out of the way. Ferguson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Makarov. Khabib Ferguson seems to be getting the better of the standup. Makarov connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Makarov throws a nice looking combination but Ferguson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ferguson with the counter takedown but Makarov avoids it easily. A low kick from Makarov is predictable there and Ferguson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ferguson pounces like a tiger and cracks Makarov with a vicious hook! Makarov is down but not out! Ferguson follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Khabib Ferguson! Khabib Ferguson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lavice misses the shot to the body. Lavice has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lavice there as he acknowledges the shot. A jab from Green finds it's way through Lavice's defenses. Lavice misses with a few strikes there.
Green cracks Lavice with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lavice looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Green finish him?
Lavice is rocked! It looks like Rene Lavice has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A punch combination from Lavice misses. Oh Lavice is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lavice bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Lavice seems to have got his legs back now. Green thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Lavice if he has to take too many more of those.
Green feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lavice sprawling to the canvas! Lavice rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Green finish him?!
Green closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Lavice! Green dives in looking to finish! Lavice is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Escobar walks into a stiff left hand from Lightning. Lightning drops Escobar with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Escobar looks back up at him and smiles so Lightning waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Escobar is rocked! Lightning ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Escobar is still on wobbly legs! Can Lightning finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! Escobar lands with a hook. Lightning tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Escobar seems to have recovered his senses. Escobar throws a body punch but Lightning moves out of range. Lightning is looking to counter punch. Nice body punch from Lightning. Lightning cracks Escobar with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Escobar looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lightning finish him?

Lightning pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Lightning lands a front kick. Lightning misses with an uppercut. Lightning lands a big uppercut and Escobar crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Escobar looks OK. Lightning waves Escobar back to his feet! Stanley connects with a solid leg kick. Stanley misses with a looping left. Gul Dukat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dukat throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dukat misses the shot to the body. Stanley flicks out a counter leg kick but Dukat steps away. Dukat shoots in and drives through. Stanley sprawls well. Dukat goes for a double leg but Stanley avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stanley continues to drive forward. Dukat misses with a punch to the body.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gul Dukat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dukat instigates a clinch. Stanley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dukat swings for the body but Stanley moves out of range.
Dukat uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stanley.
Stanley throws a hook but Dukat blocks it. Dukat fails with a takedown attempt. Dukat seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Dukat drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dukat tries to score with some ground and pound. Stanley controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dukat creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Stanley sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Dukat tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Stanley tries to buck Dukat off but Dukat is having none of it. Stanley is not content to let Dukat control the position. Stanley takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dukat misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Dukat throws an elbow but Stanley slips to the side and avoids it well. Stanley defending against the ground and pound. You can see the frustration on Stanley's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Stanley takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Stanley has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at No Stepchild - No Entrance. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Dukat wants to control but Stanley is keeping him busy. Dukat seems to be working for a kimura but Stanley defends the submission attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dukat takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gul Dukat dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Stanley moves away from the strike by Dukat. Stanley loads up on a big right hand but Dukat slips the punch. Stanley's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dukat connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stanley scrambles back to his feet. The fighters circle momentarily. Dukat darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Stanley turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Dukat swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A little jabbing left from Stanley on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Stanley connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dukat momentarily.
Dukat shoots for a double leg takedown but Stanley sprawls well. He's pushed Dukat's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. It seemed like Stanley was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Dukat throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Roger Michael Stanley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dukat misses with a wild body shot. Stanley looks like he wants to counter punch here. Stanley throws a hook to the side of Dukat's head but Dukat sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dukat is looking to wear down Stanley with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Stanley throws a lazy right hand but Dukat sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Dukat drops down looking for a counter takedown but Stanley sprawls and moves away. Dukat throws a jab when Stanley was well out of range. Dukat blocks a jab. Dukat attempts a counter takedown but Stanley avoids it well and moves away. Dukat lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stanley at a distance.
Stanley will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuxiang Wu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hayn Diesel! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diesel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wu manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Diesel looking to pass the guard. Wu looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Diesel passes into half guard.
Diesel seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diesel passes to side control. Diesel is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wu's shoulder. That is not cool. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wu is trying to control Diesel's posture but Diesel avoids it. We've been hearing good reports from Wu's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Wu tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Diesel wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Wu's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Wu is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Diesel happy to just control the position for now. Diesel wants to control but Wu is keeping him busy. Wu is looking for a sweep. Wu regains half guard there - taking advantage of Diesel's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Diesel is keen to just control but Wu is a slippery customer. Wu trying to control here.
Diesel is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wu sees it coming and defends easily. Diesel wants to pass the guard but Wu is defending well. Wu actively working from the bottom here. Diesel uses his free foot to push down on Wu's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Wu. Wu is controlling an arm, preventing Diesel from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Diesel is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Wu is surviving well by controlling Diesel's body position as best he can. Wu is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diesel trying to control but Wu is having none of it. Diesel looking to control and managing it successfully. Wu is trying desperately to improve position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Diesel with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

Hayn Diesel dominated that round. That's time! Wu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Wu looking to score a takedown here. Diesel is defending well but Wu drives through and ends up in Diesel's guard. Diesel is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wu looking for submissions off his back. Wu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Diesel is working away from the top position though. Wu tries to roll over but Diesel keeps him under control. Diesel has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Diesel working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Wu's thigh. Wu counters though and makes it back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wu looking for a sweep. Not yet Wu, not yet. Wu trying to control the position.

Diesel advances position into side control! Wu is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Diesel has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Wu is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Diesel yanks on the arm and Wu is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Diesel.
