The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broberg displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Yarborough throws out the jab.
Yarborough moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Yarborough misses with a left hand
and Broberg counters with a right hand to the body.
Broberg tries to clinch but Yarborough moves out of range.
Broberg is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Yarborough.
Yarborough swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Broberg counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Broberg fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Yarborough. Broberg shrugs it off though.
Yarborough looks to land a right hand but Broberg moved out of range.
Yarborough scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Broberg looks to score with a jab to the body but Yarborough is just out of range.
Broberg swings widly with a right hand

and Yarborough counters with a crisp right hand that drops Broberg! Yarborough lets Broberg back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Broberg avoids a kick to the body.
Broberg is still on wobbly legs! Can Yarborough finish him?
Broberg fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Yarborough on the side of the head.
Broberg seems to have recovered his senses.

Broberg connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Yarborough's hands.
Broberg looks to land a right hand but Yarborough moved out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Broberg. Yarborough does a little dance to reset his feet.
Broberg takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Yarborough keeps the fight on the outside.

and Broberg counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Broberg misses with a looping left.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Broberg has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Yarborough takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Yarborough lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Yarborough swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Broberg misses with a takedown attempt
and Yarborough counters with a nice uppercut.
Yarborough cracks Broberg with a left hook right on the temple and Broberg goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Yarborough lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Broberg is OK!

A jab from Sadler finds it's way through Nascimento's defenses.
It looks like Leonardo Nascimento has been cut.
Sadler cracks Nascimento on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Nascimento falls backwards against the cage. Sadler follows up with more strikes that drop Nascimento to his knees. Sadler keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Nascimento! This one is all over!

Dias throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Williams sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Williams throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dias throws a looping overhand right but Williams ducks down to avoid it.
Williams now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

and Dias counters with a nice uppercut.
Williams misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Dias counter with a right hand.
Dias punishes Williams's body with a nice straight punch.
Dias changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Dias takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Williams throws a series of punches but Dias moves out of range.
Williams connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dias momentarily.
Larry Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dias swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dias takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dias connects with a solid leg kick.
Dias scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Dias just misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice defenses there by Williams.
Sloppy strikes from Dias. Those never looked like landing.
Dias takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Williams feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dias sprawling to the canvas! Dias rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Williams finish him?!
Dias is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Williams and Dias are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Williams throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Dias into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Williams knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
