The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adamczyk tries to clinch but fails miserably and Johansson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Adamczyk won't be happy with that. Adamczyk tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Johansson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bombardini changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Toscan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bombardini advances nicely into full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Toscan tries to lock up and control but Bombardini gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bombardini punishing his opponent with strikes. Toscan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bombardini lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Bombardini looking to finish Toscan with some ground and pound. This is bad for Toscan! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bombardini controlling from the full mount. Toscan tries to hold on but Bombardini postures up. Bombardini lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bombardini raining down shots from the mount! Toscan is desperately trying to improve his position but Bombardini has a good base and remains in mount. Bombardini landing strikes from the mount and Toscan is in trouble! Bombardini is landing with some decent strikes but Toscan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Bombardini raining down shots from the mount! Toscan is rocked! Bombardini avoids the attempt from Toscan to control. Bombardini controlling the pace for now. Bombardini is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Toscan looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bombardini closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bombardini controlling the action here. Bombardini takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Bombardini is controlling the pace.
Bombardini seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Toscan for as long as he can get away with. Bombardini scoring with strikes to the body and head.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rakic tries to close the distance and clinch up but McCloud swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rakic misses with the combination.
A little feinted left hand from McCloud on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Rakic misses with an uppercut
and McCloud counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. McCloud lands with an uppercut that bounces Rakic off the cage and back into range. McCloud circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Rakic to the canvas! Rakic doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - McCloud keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Rominho gets in close and instigates a clinch. Rominho turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Rominho works to advance to full mount. Stryj defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Stryj wants to hold on but Rominho pushes him away. Rominho controlling the pace for now. Stryj is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Rominho lands a couple of good shots and Stryj has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
That's one minute gone in the round. Stryj is trying to remain composed but Rominho is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Stryj wants to get back to his feet. Rominho is riding his opponent, not letting Stryj buck him off. Stryj is really stuck here.

A bit of a stalemate here. Stryj tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Rominho controlling from mount. Stryj working to try and regain half guard.

Rominho Rominho dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Stryj closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rominho circles away. Stryj avoids the body shot from Rominho.
Rominho drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stryj is trying to improve his position. Rominho is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stryj has escaped the position, nice work there. You can see the frustration on Stryj's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rominho goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Stryj has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rominho but great work by Stryj.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rominho avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Stryj. Rominho manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Rominho Rominho overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rominho wants to get back to full guard but Stryj has mounted him! Rominho sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Rominho gets full guard. Rominho is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Rominho thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rominho looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Stryj looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Stryj is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rominho pulls his head out easily. Rominho prevents Stryj from standing back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rominho looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Rominho keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Stryj slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Rominho showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rominho throwing strikes but missing.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Rominho is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stryj can do to turn this around? Stryj wants to clinch up but Rominho keeps it at a distance. Rominho looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rominho looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stryj has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rominho is working away from the top position though. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rominho tries to land a sweep but no joy. Stryj is fighting to break Rominho's control of his arms but Rominho is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Rominho working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Stryj has passed into half guard!
That's one minute gone in the round. Stryj passes to full mount! Rominho somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Rominho looking to score a takedown here. Stryj is defending well but Rominho drives through and ends up in Stryj's guard. Stryj keeping full guard, as Rominho tries to pass. Rominho drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rominho jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rominho working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rominho is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Stryj utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Stryj looking for a sweep. Not yet Stryj, not yet. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Rominho is looking to work some ground and pound but Stryj has wrist control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Stryj is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rominho sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Stryj misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rominho shoots in and gets a takedown into Stryj's guard. Stryj takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rominho is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Rominho here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Stryj trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Rominho controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Stryj trying to keep a closed guard but Rominho is proving a slippery customer.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Stryj tries to clinch there but Rominho circles away.
Stryj gets caught flat footed, as Rominho shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Rominho postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rominho not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Rominho advances position into side control!
And that's the end of the fight! Rominho Rominho showed his dominance in that final round. Well Rominho has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Boy manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Polo is trying to maintain the position but Boy is very close to passing his half guard. Polo tries to get to full guard but Boy has control of the leg. Boy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Polo is just riding it out for now. Boy eventually gives up the hold. Boy is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Polo can do anything to dispel that myth. Boy seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Polo is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nicodeme throws a nice looking combination but Cook bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cook clinches up with Nicodeme and pushes him back against the cage. Nicodeme is trying to push Cook away but Cook has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Cook keeps control of Nicodeme as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Nicodeme has had enough of the clinch but Cook keeps him there for the moment. Nicodeme is trying to break free. Nicodeme can't break the clinch.
Nicodeme tries to break the clinch but Cook is controlling the position. Nicodeme wants to break free but Cook has control.
Cook pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cook tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nicodeme swivels and escapes. Nicodeme scores with a decent looking hook. Nicodeme cracks Cook with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nicodeme has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cook to stand back up! Cook is rocked! It looks like Love Cook has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nicodeme throws an uppercut from hell that sends Cook clean off his feet! He's out cold! Nicodeme stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

It looks like Brandon Borello has been cut. Borello slips under a jab. Borello is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. A big right from Quigley misses. Quigley looks to land a left hand but Borello moved out of range nicely. Quigley definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Quigley's jab looks to have found its range, popping Borello under the eye. Borello shoots in and drives through. Quigley sprawls well. Borello looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Quigley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Horrible takedown attempt by Borello or perhaps it was just good defense by Quigley, which made it look bad. Quigley keeps the fight on the outside. Quigley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Borello shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Quigley as he avoids it easily. Quigley throwing a counter right hand but Borello manages to avoid it. Matthew Quigley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Borello. Quigley misses with a straight left. Borello shoots for a double leg takedown but Quigley sprawls well. He's pushed Borello's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Quigley lands an overhand right. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Borello takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Borello looks winded! Borello rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Quigley finish him?!

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Boris Botenberg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joey Logic! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Logic misses. It looked like Botenberg was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Logic stuffs the takedown. Botenberg takes the fight into the clinch. Logic wants a takedown.
Logic has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Botenberg clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Logic lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Botenberg hold on?!

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Botenberg with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
