The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bukowski shoots in but DeJohnette avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bukowski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around DeJohnette's waist but DeJohnette gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bukowski off to one side.
DeJohnette tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bukowski is able to avoid easily.
DeJohnette misses with a low kick as Bukowski jumps back.

Bukowski fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. DeJohnette sprawls well initially but Bukowski persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
DeJohnette regains full guard. Nicely done.
DeJohnette is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

DeJohnette wants to control but Bukowski is keeping him busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bukowski wants to get back to his feet.

Bukowski is defending against the submission attempts here by DeJohnette.
Bukowski tries to kick DeJohnette off in order to stand up. DeJohnette Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Bukowski is in a horrible position here. DeJohnette smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
DeJohnette won't let Bukowski get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
DeJohnette lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Bukowski wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! DeJohnette has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Bukowski taps furiously! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kable keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A punch combination from Kable misses.
Stat wants to counter with a clinch but Kable pushes him away.
Kable looks to land a right hand but Stat moved out of range.
Stat keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stat wants to counter the offense by Kable and move into the clinch position.
Kable fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stat manages to avoid it.
Demo Kable seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kable throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stat sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stat wants to counter the offense by Kable and move into the clinch position.

Kable sends Stat crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kable is motioning to the referee to let Stat up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Stat is rocked!
It looks like Stat Stat has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kable measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Stat! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

Demetrio ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nightmare moves away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Demetrio enables Nightmare to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Demetrio manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Nightmare is standing up over Demetrio. Demetrio looks to escape but Nightmare dives into side control.

Nightmare throws a strike aimed at the side of Demetrio's head but Demetrio avoids it well.
Nightmare works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Demetrio wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Pacman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Alexander manages to get himself to full guard.

Alexander is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pacman connects with a nice short shot to Alexander's temple.

Pacman pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Alexander leaves Pacman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Alexander has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pacman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Pacman has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Alexander is proving hard to escape from.
Pacman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Pacman postures up and lands a big shot to Alexander's brow.
Pacman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Pacman controls from within his opponent's guard.
Alexander keeping moving, preventing Pacman from controlling successfully.
Pacman pushing down on Alexander's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Pacman is pressing down on Alexander's thigh, looking to free his foot. Alexander is holding on for now.
Alexander is trying to control but can't.

Alexander is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pacman pulls his head out easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pacman lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Alexander throws a head kick that misses.
Alexander dives in and grabs Pacman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pacman pushes down on Alexander's head and hops out.
Despite the aggression on Pacman's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Horrible takedown attempt by Alexander or perhaps it was just good defense by Pacman, which made it look bad.

Pacman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Alexander, pushing him back against the cage.

Alexander goes for a takedown attempt but Pacman pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zaire Alexander. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pacman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Pacman decides to stand back up. Pacman steps back and let's Alexander get back to his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Pacman.
Alexander tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Manny Pacman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Pacman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
