Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Antonio Gomes ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Issac Field! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gomes throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Field was covering up waiting for the punch and Gomes finishes the takedown easily into guard. Gomes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Field swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gomes pushing down on Field's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Gomes takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Field really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gomes . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gomes has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gomes is looking to advance position but Field won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gomes maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Field could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Gomes has cracked it and Field is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Gomes !

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vargas misses with a straight right. Hawkins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vargas tries to avoid it but Hawkins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vargas to the ground. Vargas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hawkins takes one to the side of the head.
A punch lands to the side of Hawkins 's head but he takes it in his stride. Vargas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hawkins moves away. Vargas throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Hawkins takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Vargas tests Hawkins's chin there with a solid looking shot. Vargas lands a slapping body shot.
Hawkins is breathing heavily. Vargas lands a big uppercut and Hawkins crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hawkins looks OK. Vargas waves Hawkins back to his feet! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hawkins circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Vargas. Hawkins falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Vargas!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nicodeme tries to clinch up. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nicodeme, as that shot connected.
It looks like Jon Walker has been cut. Nicodeme flashes Walker a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Walker's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Walker crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Nicodeme punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sider throws a half hearted mid kick. Sider waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Boy. Boy appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Sider drives through with a takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sider loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Sider wants to control from the top but Boy keeps moving. Sider has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sider postures up and lands a big shot to Boy's brow. Sider wants to pass the guard but Boy is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boy looking for a sweep. Not yet Boy, not yet. Sider would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sider is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Boy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sider avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Boy working for submissions but it's allowed Sider to get to half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Boy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sider pulls his head out easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sider frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Boy keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boy is breathing heavily. Sider looking to secure an arm triangle but Boy defends it well. Boy is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Boy is in a horrible position here. Sider smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Sider is in the full mount, landing strikes. Boy tries to reverse the position but Sider maintains control. Boy looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Sider lands strikes to the head. Sider controlling well, preventing Boy from escaping the position.

Boy rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Sider seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sider tries to stand but his arm is trapped. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Sider dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Sider throws a head kick but Boy moves out of range.
Boy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sider throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Boy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sider is in Boy's guard. Sider avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sider trying to control but Boy is working from the bottom. Boy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sider is aware though and is defending well. Sider slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Boy is looking for a triangle here but Sider uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Boy tries to buck Sider off but Sider is having none of it. Sider controlling from side mount. Boy is trying to improve his position. Sider wants to control but Boy is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sider decides to take the fight back to the feet. Boy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Boy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Boy looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Sider showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Boy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sider manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Boy has Sider in his guard.
Boy throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sider escapes and throws Boy's legs to the side, diving into side control! Justin Sider has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boy tries to get back to half guard but can't. Boy is trying to work for a sweep but Sider has mounted him! Sider controlling his opponent. Sider lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Boy is squirming around, avoiding Sider's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sider might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Boy haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Sider is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Boy throwing hammer fists to the chest of Sider. What's that going to do exactly? Boy sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Boy is looking to improve his position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sider in particular looking to stall. Sider wants to take a breather but Boy is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Boy gets back to full guard.
Sider content to stall in guard here. Boy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sider defends it easily. Boy wants to sweep here but Sider controlling him for the moment. Boy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sider defends well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Boy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Boy is looking for a triangle but Sider pushes his legs off easily.
Sider passes easily into side control. Nice work. Boy is looking to reverse the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sider happy to just control the position for now. Boy tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that's the end of the fight! Justin Sider comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sider has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCloud avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McCloud looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though. McCloud cracks Jones with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Jones fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jones slips a jab from McCloud. Jones moves in looking to clinch but McCloud pushes him off. The fight moves into the clinch position. Jones takes a shot to the head. McCloud blocks a body shot from Jones. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCloud pushes Jones back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. McCloud lands on the inside with an uppercut. Jones throws an elbow but it misses.

McCloud lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jones backwards. Jones tries to land a knee to the head but McCloud blocks with his arms.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Jones misses with a shot to the kidneys.
McCloud lands with a right to the head. Jones throws an elbow but it's blocked.

McCloud throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Joness head. Jones looking to throw knees to the head but McCloud is blocking nicely.

McCloud pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones wants to clinch and McCloud counters with a nice right hand that sends Jones toppling to the canvas! Jones scrambles and gets back to his feet - can McCloud finish him?! It looks like Snake Jones has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones closes the distance but McCloud moves to the side and McCloud counters with a crisp right that sends Jones to the canvas! McCloud follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown misses with a shot to the body and Cannons counters with a nice uppercut. Brown swings away with a body shot that misses
and Cannons cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Brown throws a right and a left that Cannons avoids nicely. Brown with a poor takedown and Cannons cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A shot to the body from Brown misses and Cannons counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Brown looks to land a left hand but Cannons moved out of range nicely. Nice shot by Cannons. Brown is rocked! BOOM! Cannons lands a beautiful left hook that drops Brown. Brown tries to recover but Cannons is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Brown lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Cannons! During a confident post fight interview, Johnny Cannons thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Home uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Freeman has time to react. It looks like Jeb Freeman has been cut. Home lands a really nice looking cross but Freeman seems unphased.
Freeman is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Home with a body punch. A glancing blow. Home bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Freeman takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Home scores with a hook to the body. Freeman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Freeman looks winded! Home lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). New Home! New Home spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quigley throws out a loose jab but Piano uses good head movement to avoid it. Piano closes the distance and clinches. Piano tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Quigley's elbow. Piano definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Piano struggles to land a body shot inside as Quigley controls his hands.
Quigley is trying to break the clinch but Piano is controlling him. Quigley has a couple of punches blocked by Piano.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Piano is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Dominator looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A decent looking body kick lands there for Dominator. Brokovsky moves out of range as Dominator throws a body kick.
