The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ram decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Power looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ram connects with a nice short shot to Power's temple.
Ram takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ram is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Sierron throws a head kick but Owens moves out of range.
Sierron circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sierron fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Owens tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sierron swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Owens closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sierron to the mat! Sierron manages to get full guard.

Owens has gone for a leg lock! Sierron slips out almost immediately though and dives into Owens's guard.


Owens throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sierron escapes and throws Owens's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Sierron decides to take the fight back to the feet.
