Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Konrad Krippa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Christopher Robinson! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robinson gets a clinch. Krippa is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Robinson is defending well. Robinson wants to take the fight to the mat but Krippa manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Krippa is trying to drag Robinson to the mat but Robinson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Robinson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Krippa walks away with a smile on his face. Robinson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Krippa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Robinson as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Konrad Krippa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Krippa shoots for a double leg takedown but Robinson sprawls well. He's pushed Krippa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Robinson has a takedown stuffed. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robinson shoots in for a takedown but Krippa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Robinson fails to land the takedown. Krippa looks for the body kick but Robinson saw that one coming. A nice side step and Robinson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Robinson takes a swing at Krippa's ribcage but misses. Krippa slaps away a takedown attempt from Robinson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Robinson closes the distance and clinches up with Krippa, looking for a takedown. Robinson pushes Krippa against the cage but Krippa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Krippa throws a big counter combination but Robinson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Krippa shoots in but no luck this time. Robinson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Krippa was well out of range. Poor timing from Robinson. Krippa shoots for a takedown but Robinson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Krippa scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Robinson tries to clinch up.

Robinson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Krippa avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Robinson jumps guard but Krippa stands there with Robinson around his waist. Robinson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Krippa is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Krippa takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Krippa jumps guard but Robinson stands there with Krippa around his waist. Krippa gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Robinson walks away with a smile on his face. Krippa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Robinson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Krippa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Konrad Krippa dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! A head kick misses from Krippa. Krippa manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Robinson on his heels. He'll look to pass Robinson's guard now, I'm sure. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krippa controls from within his opponent's guard. Robinson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Krippa manages to get himself to full guard.
Robinson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robinson tries to stand but Krippa is controlling from the bottom. Robinson wants to control from the top but Krippa keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krippa is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Krippa tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Robinson smiles and moves away.

Krippa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Robinson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Krippa avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Konrad Krippa. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Robinson. Krippa throws a combination that misses and Robinson counters by moving into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Robinson pushes Krippa back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Robinson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Robinson is striking but Krippa is not phased and passes to half guard. Krippa moves into full mount! Robinson won't be happy about that! Krippa controlling the position easily from mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Krippa looking to control but Robinson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Robinson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krippa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Robinson is desperately trying to improve his position but Krippa has a good base and remains in mount. Krippa throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Robinson tries to control Krippa's body but Krippa pushes him off. Robinson squirms to his side and now Krippa has his back! Robinson's corner are yelling at him, telling him to just focus on controlling Krippa's hands. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Krippa fails to land the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Robinson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Robinson tries to keep at a distance but Krippa has taken the fight into the clinch. Krippa jumps into guard, dragging Robinson to the mat.
Robinson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Krippa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Robinson has managed to get both his arms back between Krippa's legs - danger averted. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robinson trying to control the position from guard on top but Krippa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Krippa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Krippa is trying to control the position but Robinson postures up. Krippa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Robinson can do to turn this around?

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Krippa just misses with a elbow thrown towards Robinson's brow. Konrad Krippa has scored more points in the clinch so far. Robinson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Robinson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Robinson throws a knee to the head but misses.
Christopher Robinson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Konrad Krippa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Robinson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Robinson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Krippa's brow.
And that's the end of the fight! Konrad Krippa showed his dominance in that final round. Well Krippa has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

White moves in looking to clinch but Welch pushes him off. Welch throws a big counter head kick but White avoids it with no problem. White doesn't succeed with the takedown and Welch counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Welch seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Welch thows a huge punch but White dodges it nicely.

White tries to roll over but Welch keeps him under control. Welch uses his free foot to push down on White's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for White. Welch connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
It looks like Jai White has been cut. Welch controlling from the full mount. White is looking to improve his position but Welch isn't that keen on the idea. Welch content just to control the position here.

This is bad for White! Welch tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Welch has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Welch is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. White is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. White flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Welch anticipates the leg and manages to get behind White and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Welch slips an arm under White chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Welch has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Welch is squeezing on White like an anaconda would it's prey. White fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Swagger tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bruce defends well and Swagger ends up having to push Bruce into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Bruce is looking for the big counter here. Bruce escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Swagger moves in looking to clinch but Bruce pushes him off. Bruce changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Swagger tries to avoid it but Bruce manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Swagger to the ground. Swagger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Douglas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Romero's waist but Romero gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Douglas off to one side. Douglas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Romero swivels and escapes. Romero throws a head kick that misses. Romero has Douglas up against the cage in a clinch.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Romero walks away with a smile on his face. Douglas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Romero closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Douglas did well to prevent Romero getting side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Romero not doing much here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burns throws a front kick that sends Frost stumbling back into the cage. Burns closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Burns lands in his opponent's guard. Frost pushes Burns off and scrambles back to his feet.

Evans breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wynn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Evans on his heels. He'll look to pass Evans's guard now, I'm sure. Wynn working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Evans is looking to stand up but Wynn isn't so interested in that idea. Wynn wanted to stand there but Evans had control of the position. Wynn trying to control the position from guard on top but Evans is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wynn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
