Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akira Ruyjini!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bambi Shaquar!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ruyjini.
Shaquar is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Shaquar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ruyjini fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Shaquar has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ruyjini defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Shaquar.
Ruyjini feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Shaquar takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ruyjini closes the distance and pushes Shaquar back into the cage.
Shaquar tries to pull guard but Ruyjini won't allow it.
Ruyjini tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Ruyjini prevents a body shot from Shaquar.
Ruyjini drops down looking for an ankle pick but Shaquar pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Shaquar crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ruyjini - the referee stops the clock and Shaquar gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ruyjini. Shaquar manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Shaquar counters with a good, hard body kick but Ruyjini shrugs it off.

The fight stays on the outside here - Shaquar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Shaquar tries to clinch but Ruyjini is having none of it.
Ruyjini tries to close the distance and clinch but Shaquar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And Shaquar tries to counter it with a takedown but Ruyjini pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Shaquar throws a low kick but Ruyjini avoids it.
Shaquar throws a solid leg kick but Ruyjini takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Shaquar.
Shaquar fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shaquar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ruyjini moves out of range of the body kick.
Ruyjini tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shaquar paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ruyjini goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ruyjini checks the leg kick.
Shaquar misses with a takedown
and Ruyjini counters with an outside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ruyjini is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Shaquar throws a wild body kick that Ruyjini sees coming a mile off.
Ruyjini feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Shaquar drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Shaquar looks winded!
Ruyjini takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ruyjini is not content to let Shaquar control the position.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Akira Ruyjini.
I think Ruyjini has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

An attempted straight right counter from Lopez misses the target.
Lopez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Yabite to the mat! Yabite manages to get full guard.

Lopez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Yabite lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
