The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dawson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Dawson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dawson has a couple of punches blocked by Towney.
Towney jumps guard but Dawson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Dawson drops Towney with a big knee straight up the middle! Towney is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Towney is rocked!
It looks like Slim Towney has been cut.
Towney should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Towney is still on wobbly legs! Can Dawson finish him?
Dawson working the clinch nicely. Towney is working for position but Dawson cracks him with a big knee to the head! Towney crumples up against the cage and Dawson lands two more shots before the ref can save Towney! This one is all over!

Von Slackenfuchs misses with a takedown attempt
and Graff counters with a stiff right hand.

Von Slackenfuchs flashes Graff a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Graff's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Graff crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Von Slackenfuchs punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Del Geno let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Del Geno lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Panda really is a fat lump.
Del Geno lands with a right hand.
Del Geno paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Del Geno moves into range and clinches up with Panda.
Panda is trying to pull guard but Del Geno has him pressed against the cage.

Panda fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Del Geno avoids it really well and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Panda has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Del Geno can do anything to dispel that myth.

Abner has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kowalski is working away from the top position though.
Kowalski is pressing down on Abner's thigh, looking to free his foot. Abner is holding on for now.

Kowalski looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Abner with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Abner has hold of Kowalski's hands but Kowalski slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Kowalski working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Kowalski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Abner is just riding it out for now. Kowalski eventually gives up the hold.

Quaach punishes Alexander's body with a nice straight punch.
Alexander avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Quaach.
Gretchen Alexander's cut is getting worse.
Quaach cracks Alexander on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Alexander falls backwards against the cage. Quaach follows up with more strikes that drop Alexander to his knees. Quaach keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Alexander! This one is all over!

Warrior misses with a body shot.
Warrior takes a swing at Brot's ribcage but misses.
Warrior scores with a nice strike.
Torn Brot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brot keeps Warrior at a distance using the push kick.
Brot with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A jab from Brot misses.
Warrior takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Warrior misses with a straight right.
Brot throws a poor cross that misses

and Warrior counters with a shoot takedown. Brot fights it but they end up in guard.

Warrior drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Warrior jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Warrior thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Warrior trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brot is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Warrior is aware though and is defending well.
Brot is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Warrior tries to free his leg and advance position but Brot is retaining full guard.

Warrior drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Warrior as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Brot screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Warrior! Nice submission victory there!
