Kongo swings wildly with an uppercut but Ww uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kongo wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Faria has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Kongo's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Kongo is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Faria!

Winchester closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Winchester lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Winchester lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Winchester's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Winchester working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kuula's head.
Winchester distracts Kuula with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Kuula is rocked!
Winchester stands up over Kuula, holding on to his feet. Winchester throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Kuula is out cold! Winchester lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dean Winchester!
Dean Winchester decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
