The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dobrong staying out of range there.
Dobrong scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Aspirin doesn't seem bothered though.
Aspirin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Aspirin closes the distance and clinches up with Dobrong, looking for a takedown. Aspirin pushes Dobrong against the cage but Dobrong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Aspirin walks into a stiff left hand from Dobrong.
Aspirin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dobrong has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Dobrong scores with a one two! Aspirin had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Aspirin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Aspirin seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Well, if Aspirin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Aspirin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dobrong with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Dobrong is trying to stand up here but Aspirin is controlling him well.

Dobrong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aspirin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Aspirin is working to tighten his grip on Dobrong's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dobrong has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Aspirin is really squeezing tight and eventually Dobrong passes out! Aspirin breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

After the fight, Ben Aspirin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Saase throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nemogedov throws a body punch but Saase moves out of range.
Saase lunges at Nemogedov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nemogedov's hand.
It looks like Lustak Nemogedov has been cut.
Nemogedov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Saase fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nemogedov manages to avoid it.
Saase feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nemogedovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Saase throws a body shot but no joy.
Nemogedov was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Saase drops Nemogedov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nemogedov looks back up at him and smiles so Saase waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Saase closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Nemogedov! Saase dives in looking to finish! Nemogedov is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Vosu Saase was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Cholley is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Machi has his hands clasped together but Cholley extends and breaks Machi's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Cholley.
