The bell rings for round one and we are underway! yoo throws a head kick that misses. A slapping leg kick lands for yoo.

It looks like Jesse Custer has been cut. Custer avoids the head kick by yoo.
yoo lands a front kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! yoo is looking to slow Custer down with leg kicks. Custer is breathing heavily. Custer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. yoo throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
yoo grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Custer takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! yoo cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cote swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Maki looks to land a combination. Cote sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Maki goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Cote throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Maki lands with a cross. Cote fails with the takedown. Cote throws a right and a left that both miss. Maki catches Cote with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Maki throws a series of punches but Cote avoids them all with ease. Maki will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Maki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cote circles away quickly and effectively. Cote throws a combination that misses enabling Maki to counter with a crisp jab. Maki throws a series of punches but Cote avoids them all with ease. Cote throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cote looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Maki defending well as Cote loads up on a big left hand. Maki looks to land a combination. Cote sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Maki throws the left hand but Cote avoids the punch easily. Maki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maki cracks a nice hook into Cote's ribs. Maki thows a body shot but no joy. Cote looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cote misses with a leg kick. Cote is breathing heavily. Cote takes a shot right to the bread basket. Maki lands a left and a right that send Cote crashing to the mat, dazed. Maki thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Cote is rocked!
It looks like Sean Cote has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Maki connects with a stiff jab that staggers Cote - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kusanagi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Barral paws at him with a jab and circles away. Barral rushes Kusanagi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kusanagi scores with a nice hook to the head. Kusanagi prevents the takedown attempt.
Barral has a couple of punches blocked by Kusanagi.
Barral keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kusanagi's efforts to push away. Barral prevents the takedown attempt.

Barral misses with a hook from the clinch. Barral throws a head punch that misses. Barral tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Barral struggles to land a body shot inside as Kusanagi controls his hands.

Kusanagi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kusanagi is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Barral tries for a takedown. No joy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Barral throwing strikes but Kusanagi recovers to half guard. A much better position. Barral has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Barral is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Barral misses with a head shot. Kusanagi uses the momentum to regain guard. Barral wants to pass the guard but Kusanagi is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kusanagi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kusanagi preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Barral passes Kusanagi's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barral thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kusanagi kicks Barral off and gets back to his feet. Kusanagi looks to throw the jab but Barral is out of range. Barral closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Barral lands in his opponent's guard. Barral throws a big right hand that misses. Barral looking to sit in guard and control but Kusanagi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Barral is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kusanagi decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kusanagi waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Barral. Kusanagi throws an overhand right that lands on Barral's shoulder, as Barral tries to avoid the shot. Kusanagi throws a hook but Barral blocks it. Barral shoots in and bounces Kusanagi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Barral wants to control from the top but Kusanagi keeps moving. Barral trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Barral stands and throws Kusanagi's legs to the side, diving into side control. Barral sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kusanagi is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Kusanagi explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Kusanagi. Barral keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kusanagi. Lusiphur Kusanagi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kusanagi throws an overhand right that lands on Barral's shoulder, as Barral tries to avoid the shot. Kusanagi throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kusanagi pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kusanagi looks to land a left hand but Barral moved out of range nicely. Barral bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Barral cracks a nice hook into Kusanagi's ribs. Barral stuns Kusanagi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Kusanagi misses with a straight left. Barral scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Kusanagi closes the distance but Barral moves to the side and Barral counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Barral postures up in Kusanagi's guard and throws a big left but Kusanagi blocks it. Barral prevents Kusanagi from getting back to his feet. Kusanagi looks gassed! Barral advances position into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Romulo Barral dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Barral shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kusanagi is trying to defend but Barral finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kusanagi blocking the ground and pound attempt from Barral. Barral misses with a head shot. Kusanagi uses the momentum to regain guard. Barral slips nicely into half guard. Kusanagi wants to get back to his feet. Barral sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kusanagi defending well though. Barral trying to pass the guard but Kusanagi defending well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Barral takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Barral on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Barral wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Lusiphur Kusanagi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kusanagi tries to keep at a distance but Barral has taken the fight into the clinch. Barral changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kusanagi fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kusanagi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Barral on the wrong end of a nice hook. Kusanagi wants to clinch but Barral slips to the side and Barral holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Kusanagi is fighting off a takedown attempt but Barral is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kusanagi to the mat. Kusanagi regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Barral forces his way into half guard. Barral is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kusanagi! Barral throwing strikes but Kusanagi bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top. Barral prevents Kusanagi from getting back to his feet. Barral postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Barral is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kusanagi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barral. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barral stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kusanagi swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kusanagi scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Kusanagi wants to clinch but Barral slips to the side and Barral cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kusanagi throws an overhand right that lands on Barral's shoulder, as Barral tries to avoid the shot. Barral looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kusanagi! Barral is landing with some decent strikes but Kusanagi is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Kusanagi's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barral moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kusanagi has worked his arm free - good work by Kusanagi!
Kusanagi wants to get back to his feet but Barral drags him back down. Barral is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Kusanagi is trying to escape and Barral transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Kusanagi is forced to tap! Nice work there by Barral! Very nice indeed!

Jewtuszko shakes it off. Pingshaw fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Pingshaw fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Good exchange - Pingshaw coming out on top. Pingshaw scores with a hook to the body. Jewtuszko takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Pingshaw scores with a kick to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Roidereem darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Donk. Roidereem catches Gurnisson right on the button with a cross. Gurnisson tries to clinch but Roidereem moves out of range. Gurnisson looks to land a combination but Roidereem avoids it well. Gurnisson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Roidereem swats him away and circles back towards the center. Gurnisson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Roidereem throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gurnisson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Gurnisson looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Roidereem lands a big head kick that sends Gurnisson tumbling to the mat! Roidereem takes a step backwards and waves Gurnisson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Ulf Gurnisson has been cut. Nice body kick there by Roidereem. Gurnisson is still on wobbly legs! Can Roidereem finish him? Roidereem turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Gurnisson seems to have recovered his senses. Roidereem gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Roidereem working the clinch nicely. Gurnisson is working for position but Roidereem cracks him with a big knee to the head! Gurnisson crumples up against the cage and Roidereem lands two more shots before the ref can save Gurnisson! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lase dodges the punch combination from Dawg.
