The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ulibarri closes the distance but Veainu moves to the side and Veainu counters with a nice right hand that sends Ulibarri toppling to the canvas! Ulibarri scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Veainu finish him?! Veainu circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Ulibarri tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Veainu wins by KO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turner shoots in looking for a takedown. Daskalakis tries to sprawl out of it but Turner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Daskalakis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Daskalakis has taken the fight to the clinch.
Turner has clasped his hands together around Daskalakis's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Turner connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Daskalakis some visible discomfort.

Khan has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Shields bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Check out the look on Shields's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dulo shoots for a takedown but Quirk saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dulo tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Quirk displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dulo. Dulo throws a body shot but no joy. Dulo shoots in but Quirk avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Dulo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dulo darts in looking for a takedown but Quirk gets double underhooks and turns Dulo into the cage. Dulo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dulo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Quirk counters with a stiff right hand. Dulo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Quirk as he jumps to the side. Dulo goes for a double leg but Quirk avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Quirk continues to drive forward. Quirk breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Quirk lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Quirk fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dulo manages to avoid it. Dulo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Quirk gets caught flat footed, as Dulo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Quirk not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Dulo distracts Quirk with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Dulo won't allow Quirk to get back to his feet. Quirk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dulo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dulo won't allow Quirk to sweep him here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dulo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Quirk circles away. Dulo goes for a double leg but Quirk avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Quirk continues to drive forward. Quirk stalls. Quirk lands an uppercut. Quirk is pushing Dulo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bounser does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Pedersen fails with the takedown and Bounser counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bounser lands a big shot that drops Pedersen! Can he finish him?
