Mcbasketball is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Nokia is trying to escape and Mcbasketball transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Nokia is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mcbasketball! Very nice indeed!

With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daizen Kuroda!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hornblower pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kuroda! But no joy.

Hornblower takes the fight into the clinch.
Kuroda's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Kuroda wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hornblower has him pressed against the cage.
Kuroda is trying to pull guard but Hornblower has him pressed against the cage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kuroda has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Oooooh!!! Hornblower has knocked Kuroda down with a huge combo! Hornblower steps away and waves a wobbly Kuroda back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hornblower cracks Kuroda with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kuroda tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hornblower pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kuroda is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
