The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hisamori ducks right into an uppercut from Pitts.

Pitts tries to sprawl but Hisamori drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Pitts is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hisamori's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hisamori's back!

Hisamori is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pitts doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hisamori.

Dew needs to keep his hands up - Four had a free shot at his head there.

Dew is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dew misses with a takedown
and Four counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Four throws a body punch but Dew moves out of range.

I was talking to Marajoara's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Marajoara creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Marajoara goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Cannons shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Niten napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Niten on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Niten tries to get out of the position.
Cannons tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cannons decides to stand back up. Cannons steps back and let's Niten get back to his feet.

Cannons scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Cannons tries to stand and escape but Niten actually recovers to full guard.
Cannons would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Niten looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cannons is one step ahead there.
Cannons really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Niten. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Niten looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Cannons is defending well. Niten quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Cannons has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Niten celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slumponyhu throws the kick towards the body but West avoids it.
Stances Slumponyhu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
West ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slumponyhu moves away.
It looked like Slumponyhu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
West has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Slumponyhu swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Slumponyhu.
As Slumponyhu backs off West throws a huge counter combo but Slumponyhu manages to avoid it all.
Slumponyhu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
West throws a good cross that connects.
Slumponyhu swats away the attempt to clinch by West.
West is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Slumponyhu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
West fails in his attempt to clinch.
Slumponyhu connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Benny West has been cut.
Slumponyhu misses with a low kick as West jumps back.
West misses with a lunging right hand

and Slumponyhu counters with a crisp one two that drops West! Slumponyhu thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves West to his feet! West is in big trouble!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Slumponyhu lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! West goes down and covers up as Slumponyhu starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Caramel drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Winters wants to hit a sweep here but Caramel passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Winters there!
Winters sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Winters trying to hold on to Caramel's head to control him but Caramel postures up.
Winters gets back to full guard.
Caramel throws a big elbow that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Winters is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Caramel's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Caramel connects with a couple of short punches.
Caramel working some strikes from top position.
Caramel trying to control the position from guard on top but Winters is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Winters escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Caramel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

It looks like New Home has been cut.
Home misses with a looping left.
Oh Home is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Car lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
