Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and steve brewer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cage comes to the cage accompanied by "Can't Be Touched" by Roy Jones Jr.. steve brewer struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 266.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cage fails with a takedown attempt. brewer looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! brewer throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Cage fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Cage fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Cage. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cage is looking to clinch. brewer throws a series of punches but Cage moves out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - Cage looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cage shoots in for a takedown but brewer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. brewer misses the shot to the body.

brewer gets to his feet - Cage follows without any prompting. Cage has his takedown stuffed and brewer counters with a good, hard body kick but Cage shrugs it off. Cage circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cage tries to clinch up but brewer circles away and keeps his distance. Cage tries to close the distance and clinch up but brewer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Cage tries to clinch but brewer moves out of range.
Cage decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cage in particular looking to stall. Cage wants to take a breather but brewer is having none of it. brewer is looking to escape. brewer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Cage frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. brewer is trying to escape the mount.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. brewer bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Cage tries to land a sweep but no joy.

brewer wants the takedown. Cage is fighting it off but brewer persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cage's guard against the cage. Cage wants to sweep but no luck. brewer is looking to stand up but Cage won't let him. Cage is trying to control the position but brewer postures up.

brewer feints and as Cage raises his hands in defense, brewer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. brewer wanted to stand there but Cage had control of the position. brewer won't allow Cage to sweep him here. Cage could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Cage is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Cage tries to close the distance and clinch up but brewer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cage shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and brewer counters with an inside leg kick.

Cage has a closed guard, preventing brewer from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Cage tries to buck brewer off but brewer is having none of it. Alexander Cage has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
brewer decides to stand back up. Cage shoots in but no luck this time. brewer lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Cage has his takedown stuffed
and brewer counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by brewer. brewer comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. A knee to the head by brewer.
brewer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cage feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Cage forces his way into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cage trying to control the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! steve brewer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well brewer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A leg kick checked by Gucik. Gucik looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Gucik moves in looking to clinch but Ocho pushes him off. Ocho lands with a nice combination. Gucik backs away looking to recover.
 It looks like Gucio Gucik has been cut. Gucik loses concentration momentarily and Ocho pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Gucik crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Ocho finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Cohen in side control, throwing shots but Camozzi defends. Camozzi struggling a bit here. Cohen lands an elbow. Cohen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Camozzi keeps working.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Kiger. No joy for Resina on that attempt.
Resina gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kiger postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Resina is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kiger, into his guard. Kiger will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kiger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Resina wants to control from the top but Kiger keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Resina should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Resina won't allow Kiger to sweep him here.

Resina manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Resina content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Resina trying to control the position from guard on top but Kiger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kiger bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Resina's guard.

Resina tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kiger stands up over Resina, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Kiger works over Resina with some ground and pound from guard. Resina manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
