The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ralphinski goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Nice defenses there by Ralphinski. Kaplan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kaplan missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kaplan controlling the pace. Ralphinski trying to hold on to Kaplan's head to control him but Kaplan postures up.

8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Bronson! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice straight punches there by Disadvantage. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Disadvantage. Disadvantage keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bronson. Disadvantage throws a hook but Bronson blocks it. Bronson lands a jab. Disadvantage throws a right and a left that both miss. Disadvantage connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bronson. Bronson circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Bronson throws a shot from downtown. Disadvantage moves away and avoids it. Disadvantage misses with a double jab.
A nice inside leg kick there by Disadvantage. That's going to slow Bronson down. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bronson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Disadvantage counters with a nice uppercut. Disadvantage cracks Bronson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Disadvantage lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Bronson can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Disadvantage and Bronson drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Disadvantage.

15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, the natural Couture! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Couture with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Blatt to score with a decent uppercut. Blatt throws a jab but it's blocked by Couture. Couture decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blatt wants to control but Couture is keeping busy.
Couture not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Couture is thwarting Blatt's attempts to control the position. Couture missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Couture not landing any meaningful shots this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blatt blocking the ground and pound attempt from Couture. Blatt is trying to stand up here but Couture is controlling him well. Blatt wants to control but Couture is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Blatt checks a low kick from Couture. Blatt bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Blatt looks for a takedown but Couture sprawls well. Blatt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Couture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Couture shoots in but no luck this time. Blatt misses with the combination.
Blatt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Couture but Couture pushes him off and we're back to square one. Couture throws a big shot that misses. Blatt scores with a nice head shot. Couture shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Blatt is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Couture pulls his head out easily. Blatt is looking to improve his position.

Blatt gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Blatt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Blatt actively working from the bottom here. Blatt tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Couture manages to move to mount!
Blatt takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Blatt wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blatt wants to control but Couture is having none of it. Blatt working to try and regain half guard.
Blatt regains half guard. Blatt is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Couture pulls his head out easily. Blatt on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Blatt is trying to control but can't.
Blatt kicks Couture off and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blatt misses with an uppercut. Couture throws an overhand right that lands on Blatt's shoulder, as Blatt tries to avoid the shot. Couture tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blatt paws at him with a jab and circles away. Couture takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Blatt jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Couture moves forwards but Blatt connects with a nice, crisp jab. Jeff Blatt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Couture walks into a straight right hand from Blatt. Couture throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Blatt loads up on a big right hand but Couture slips the punch. Blatt misses with a straight right. Couture scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Blatt makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Blatt. Blatt looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Couture passes into half guard.
Blatt tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Couture has advanced to mount. Uh oh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Jeff Blatt has been cut. Blatt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Couture walks away with a smile on his face. Blatt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Some bone on bone action there as Blatt checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Blatt ducks under a wild hook from Couture. Jeff Blatt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Couture moves into the clinch successfully.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Couture creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Blatt lands a right hand that snaps the head of Couture backwards. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Blatt. Couture lands a nice shot to the body. Blatt is trying to break the clinch but Couture is controlling him. A short right hand to the side of the head by Blatt. Couture swings wildly with an uppercut but Blatt uses good head movement to avoid it. Couture lands a body shot in the clinch.

Blatt is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Couture. Blatt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Couture walks away with a smile on his face. Blatt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Blatt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blatt connects with a crisp jab. Blatt takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Blatt has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Couture with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Blatt lands with a right hand. Blatt throws a jab but it's blocked by Couture. Couture tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Couture ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Blatt tries to clinch up but Couture circles away and keeps his distance. Couture wants to clinch up but Blatt keeps it at a distance. Blatt drops his hands momentarily and Couture takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Blatt throws a jab when Couture was well out of range. Couture throws out a powerful jab. Couture fails to land with a series of punches.
Blatt getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Blatt lands a two punch combo.
Couture throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Blatt was covering up waiting for the punch and Couture finishes the takedown easily into guard. Couture must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blatt is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Couture is aware though and is defending well. Blatt is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Couture missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Blatt keeping moving, preventing Couture from controlling successfully. Blatt has an active guard here but Couture has managed to pass into half guard.
Couture decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Couture tries to clinch up. Blatt bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Couture's head. Blatt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Couture. Blatt is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Blatt fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Blatt lands with a straight right. Couture didn't see that one coming. Couture clinches but Blatt breaks the clinch and Couture takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Blatt swings for the body but Couture moves out of range.
Blatt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Couture's waist but Couture gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blatt off to one side. Blatt looks to land a left hand but Couture moved out of range nicely. Couture thuds his right hand into Blatt's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Couture moves forwards but Blatt connects with a nice, crisp jab. Decent striking displayed by Blatt there. Couture looks to throw the jab but Blatt is out of range. A chopping leg kick lands by Couture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blatt stalks Couture and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Couture's face. Couture staggers backwards, shaken. Couture throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Blatt was covering up waiting for the punch and Couture finishes the takedown easily into guard. Blatt is looking for a triangle here but Couture uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Couture working away. Blatt is trying to get back to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
the natural Couture showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jeff Blatt's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Blatt lands with a straight right. Couture didn't see that one coming. A telegraphed right hand from Couture misses the target. Couture throws the left hand but Blatt avoids the punch easily. Blatt avoids the body shot from Couture.
Couture gets a takedown into half guard. Blatt wants to improve his position but Couture is controlling well.

Couture looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Blatt with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Blatt works his way to full guard. Good work. Blatt is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Blatt looking to control but Couture passes into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Blatt is trying to maintain the position but Couture is very close to passing his half guard. Couture not landing any meaningful shots this time. Blatt is trying to stand.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Couture wants to take a breather but Blatt is having none of it. Blatt is looking to control Couture's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Blatt avoid being mounted? Blatt tries to kick Couture off in order to stand up. Couture Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Blatt can't do much from the bottom here. Couture misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Blatt gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Blatt won't allow Couture to pass to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Blatt manages to get to full guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Blatt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Blatt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! the natural Couture comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Couture winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
