With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Barry Bonon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hugh Rection! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bonon rushes Rection and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rection tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bonon just stands there and leans against the cage. Rection is looking for a takedown. Bonon gets a trip takedown into half guard. Rection is refusing to be controlled, as Bonon sits in half guard. Rection works his way to full guard. Good work. Rection had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bonon defends it easily. Rection working for submissions but it's allowed Bonon to get to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bonon is looking for a kimura but Rection is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bonon to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rection won't allow Bonon to pass to mount. Rection is looking for a sweep. Bonon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rection is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bonon pulls his head out easily. Bonon has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Bonon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rection does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Rection trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Bonon manages to pass to mount!

Rection defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Bonon controlling well, preventing Rection from escaping the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bonon slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Rection swats away the attempt to clinch by Bonon. Rection now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Rection looking to score a takedown here. Bonon is defending well but Rection drives through and ends up in Bonon's guard. Bonon uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Rection is trying to drag Bonon to the mat but Bonon just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Rection has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bonon uses from the top position. Rection looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Rection sneaks back into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bonon throws a series of punches but Rection avoids them all with ease. Bonon tries to clinch up. Barry Bonon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bonon clinches up with Rection and pushes him back against the cage. Bonon wants to take the fight to the mat but Rection manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Rection misses with the head strike.

Anthony Epolito decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Hoca waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Del Valle . Hoca ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Hoca's coach down at Walter J Abramowitz Center for Bigness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hoca's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Del Valle tries to move into range but Hoca moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Del Valle uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hoca. Del Valle 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hoca connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Del Valle scrambles back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hoca digs a good body shot into Del Valle 's ribs. Hoca lands with a right hand.

Home takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Home definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Home paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. It looks like Keke Kivi has been cut. Home swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Home throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kivi missing with a left hand there. Home was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Home throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Home takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kivi thuds his right hand into Home's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Home misses with an uppercut
enabling Kivi to counter with a crisp jab. Home misses with an uppercut. Home jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Home looks to land a right hand but Kivi moved out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kivi! But no joy. Kivi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Home. Kivi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Home throws a right hand that misses
and Kivi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Home is rocked! Kivi moves away from the strike by Home. Oh Home is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kivi has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Home walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Kivi! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Sneakers is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sneakers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Luciano manages to avoid it. Oh Sneakers is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sneakers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Luciano was well out of range. Poor timing from Sneakers. Luciano lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vunipola Veainu! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Timur Vasiliev! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasiliev pushes Veainu up against the cage in a clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Veainu. Veainu is trying to push Vasiliev away but Vasiliev has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Vasiliev working aggressively here.

Vasiliev is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. A swing and a miss from Veainu. Vasiliev lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Veainu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Veainu misses with a straight left. Veainu loads up on a big right hand but Vasiliev slips the punch.

Veainu misses with a left hand and Vasiliev counters with a straight right hand. Veainu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Vasiliev drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Veainu cracks Vasiliev with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Vasiliev looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Veainu finish him?
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Vasiliev looks to land a right hand but Veainu moved out of range. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Veainu catches Vasiliev right on the button with a cross. Veainu missing with a left hand there. Vasiliev was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Veainu lands a jab to the nose. That has opened up Timur Vasiliev's cut even more. A big right from Veainu misses. Vasiliev slips under a jab from Veainu. Vasiliev looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Vasiliev steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Veainu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vasiliev moves out of range of the strikes. Vasiliev throws a body shot but no joy. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Veainu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Veainu misses with an uppercut. Vunipola Veainu is winning the standup battle so far. Veainu drops Vasiliev with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Vasiliev looks back up at him and smiles so Veainu waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

and Veainu counters with a huge left! Vasiliev is in big trouble! He's backing up but Veainu isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Vasiliev from any more damage. A dominating finish by Veainu!
