The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Four wants to clinch.

Four moves into the clinch successfully.

Four gets control of Three's arms and successfully pulls guard. Four will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Four is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Four is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Three is aware though and is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Four not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Four is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Three can do anything to dispel that myth.

Three working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Four doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Four manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Three really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Four. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Four throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Three works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Three wants to sweep here but Four controlling him for the moment.

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Nice sprawl there from Nine as Four shoots in.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nine tries to clinch but Four is having none of it.
Four throws a big counter combination but Nine scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Four stuffs the takedown.

Nice sprawl there from Four as Nine shoots in.
Nine misses with a takedown attempt - Four sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Four drops down looking for a counter takedown but Nine sprawls and moves away.

As Four backs off Nine throws a huge counter combo but Four manages to avoid it all.

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Two lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but One circles away quickly and effectively.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
One shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Two pinned against the cage. Two gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Two slaps away a takedown attempt from One, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Two tries a quick counter leg kick but One is wise to it.
Two changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. One tries to avoid it but Two manages to keep hold of a leg and drag One to the ground. One escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
One looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Two changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. One tries to avoid it but Two manages to keep hold of a leg and drag One to the ground. One escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
One seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Two misses with a takedown

and One counters by moving into the clinch.
Tuf One has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tuf Two.

Two goes for a takedown attempt but One pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Two blocks a head kick by One.
Two let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
