With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Reynard Frederick! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chavaski fails with a takedown attempt. Frederick throws a body punch but Chavaski moves out of range. Chavaski throws out a loose jab but Frederick uses good head movement to avoid it. Frederick misses with a body punch
and Chavaski counters with a shoot takedown. Frederick fights it but they end up in guard. Frederick controls Chavaski momentarily but Chavaski frees himself. Chavaski wants to control from the top but Frederick keeps moving. Frederick is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Chavaski has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frederick is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chavaski is aware though and is defending well. Frederick has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Chavaski trying to control but Frederick is working from the bottom.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thompson throws a leg kick but Lesnar sees it coming and moves out of range. Thompson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Lesnar jabbing away but nothing is landing. Thompson with the counter takedown but Lesnar avoids it easily. Lesnar connects with a right hand. Thompson shakes it off. Lesnar shoots in but Thompson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Lesnar lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Good standup being displayed there by Lesnar as he connects with a hook. Horrible takedown attempt by Thompson or perhaps it was just good defense by Lesnar, which made it look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lesnar gets a double leg takedown into Thompson's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Thompson looking for a sweep. Not yet Thompson, not yet. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barbosa gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sakuraba scoring with punches to the head and body. Sakuraba looking to sit in guard and control but Barbosa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barbosa postures up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green fails with the takedown. Ousmane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Green tries to avoid it but Ousmane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Green to the ground. Green escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ousmane lands with a good body shot. Green uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ousmane.
Ousmane fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Green definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ousmane fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ed Green has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kofi Ousmane. Green is looking to clinch. Green misses with a head kick.

Green has hold of Ousmane's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ousmane manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Ousmane felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Green with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Needle Dick! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 1 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Maro Pjetlic! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dick throws a lazy uppercut
and Pjetlic counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Pjetlic loads up on a big right hand but Dick slips the punch. Pjetlic fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Pjetlic scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dick doesn't seem bothered though. Dick looks to clinch and Pjetlic counters with a nice body shot. Dick definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. It seemed like Pjetlic was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Dick throws a body shot but no joy. A nice side step and Pjetlic releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pjetlic looks to land a left hand but Dick moved out of range nicely. Dick is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Pjetlic. Dick misses with a wild body shot.

and Dick counters with a nice right hand that sends Pjetlic toppling to the canvas! Pjetlic scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Dick finish him?! It looks like Maro Pjetlic has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dick ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pjetlic moves away. Pjetlic misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dick.
