The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.#CL2# Rua closes the distance and clinches. Kerr is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rua pulls him back up using the underhooks. Rua stops a takedown attempt from Kerr.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rua seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Kerr is holding on tight.

Rua tries to keep control of the position but Kerr is staying busy. Rua is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
