The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aca tries to sprawl but Jong Un drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Jong Un is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Aca still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Aca has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Struve's coach down at Cozad MMA New York was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Struve's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

After the fight, Vern Vurris was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
In defeat, StepOn Struve stepped up to the mic, saying 'I quit! I got a modeling job in Cali'.
