Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Garm Baph! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donald Esquivel! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baph shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Esquivel sprawls well. Esquivel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Baph gets slowly back to his feet. Baph avoids the head kick by Esquivel.
Baph has a takedown stuffed. Baph looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Esquivel lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Garm Baph. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baph looks for a takedown but Esquivel sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Esquivel gets a double leg takedown into Baph's guard. Baph not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Esquivel is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baph is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Baph being controlled here, momentarily. Esquivel loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Esquivel with a flurry of punches that miss. Esquivel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Baph is keeping the position for now. Esquivel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Esquivel is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Esquivel's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Let's hope that Esquivel has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Baph keeping full guard, as Esquivel tries to pass.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Baph misses with a two punch combination.

Baph has Esquivel pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Esquivel manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Esquivel drags the fight down to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Esquivel is adopting a defensive guard. Baph stands up from Esquivel's guard - Baph perhaps looking for a knockout. Esquivel throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Baph tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Esquivel is in Baph's guard. Baph is breathing heavily. Esquivel slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. It looks like Esquivel might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Esquivel throwing strikes from guard but Baph blocks nicely. Esquivel looking to pass the guard. Esquivel slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Donald Esquivel dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Baph tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Esquivel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Esquivel tries a low kick but Baph avoids it. Esquivel throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Baph counters with a nice body shot. Baph moves in looking to clinch but Esquivel pushes him off. Baph is looking to clinch but Esquivel is avoiding it.
Esquivel steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Baph. Esquivel moves into the clinch successfully.
Baph wants to take the fight to the mat but Esquivel manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Esquivel turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Esquivel manages to end up in side control. Baph tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Esquivel controlling from the full mount. Baph tries to reverse the position but Esquivel maintains control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Esquivel throwing strikes here but Baph is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Esquivel throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Esquivel takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Esquivel throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Baph has his hands clasped together but Esquivel breaks the hold and Baph is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Esquivel!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leonard gets a clinch. Banks jumps guard but Leonard turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Banks tries to pull guard but Leonard won't allow it.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Banks. Leonard wants the takedown. Banks is fighting it off but Leonard persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Banks's guard against the cage. Leonard tries to free his leg and advance position but Banks is retaining full guard. Leonard postures up in Banks's guard and throws a big left but Banks blocks it. Leonard trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Banks looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Leonard missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Leonard wants to control from the top but Banks keeps moving. Leonard controls from within his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Banks working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Leonard. Leonard trying to control the position from guard on top but Banks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Leonard might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Banks haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Banks accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Banks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leonard swivels though and keeps the full guard. Leonard looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Banks stops Leonard from standing up. Banks preventing the sweep. Leonard wants to stand but Banks is controlling the position. Leonard has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Banks has passed into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. You can see the frustration on Leonard's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Leonard tries to improve position but can't. Banks advances to full mount. Banks is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Leonard to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Leonard shrugs it off. Banks wants to finish this one by submission but Leonard is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Banks. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Leonard is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kingston Banks will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Banks lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Banks lands with an overhand left. Banks scores with a punch to the head. Banks lands a jab to the nose. Leonard closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Leonard struggles to land a body shot inside as Banks controls his hands.
Banks tries to pull guard but Leonard won't allow it.

Banks throws a nice looking combination but Leonard bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Leonard closes the distance and pushes Banks back into the cage. Banks blocks an uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Leonard lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Leonard with a flurry of punches that miss. Leonard got a little sloppy there for a moment and Banks has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Leonard has managed to get both his arms back between Banks's legs - danger averted. Randall Leonard has got the better of the ground game so far. Leonard engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Leonard working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Leonard advances position into side control! Leonard looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Banks is looking for a sweep.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Banks is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Leonard drops back looking for a leg! Banks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Banks manages to kick Leonard off! Leonard jumps back into Banks's guard. Banks working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Leonard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Banks is tightening it up a little... Leonard has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Leonard reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Leonard taps out! Nice BJJ there by Banks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thip doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Ori swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A jab from Ori finds it's way through Thip's defenses. A head kick misses from Thip. Thip throws a body shot but no joy. It looked like Ori was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Thip. Ori connects with a body shot that sends Thip's belly button to the back. A right-left combo lands from Ori. Ori scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Thip misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thip stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Ori throws a one two combo.
Thip is rocked! Ori lunges at Thip with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Thip's hand. Thip is still on wobbly legs! Can Ori finish him? Ori slips under a jab from Thip. Thip scores with a spinning back kick! Ori has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Thip. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The crowd cheers as Ori lands an impressive looking overhand right. Thip doesn't seem phased though. Ori fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thip manages to avoid it. Ori fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Thip to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Thip looks to clinch but Ori throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Thip taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut there from Crusher. Bone Crusher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Renaudin fails in his attempt to clinch. Crusher is looking for a counter combo. Crusher throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Renaudin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Crusher takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Crusher fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Renaudin on the side of the head. Crusher throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Renaudin makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Renaudin looks to score with a jab to the body but Crusher is just out of range. Crusher throws a big counter combination but Renaudin scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Crusher with a nice cross. Renaudin is rocked! Crusher misses with a few strikes there.
Crusher throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Renaudin. Crusher drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Renaudin right on the button. Renaudin goes down! Crusher follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Crusher gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bone Crusher! Bone Crusher decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown lands with a shot to the body. Tang takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Brown lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Tang misses the jab. Tang throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
As Tang looks to move away, Brown throws a big counter combo but Tang just gets out of the way. Tang digs a good hook to Brown's body.
Tang waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brown. Tang looks to land a left hand but Brown moved out of range nicely. A big left from Tang misses. Brown feinted with a counter takedown. Brown lands a jab to the nose. It looks like Wulin Tang has been cut. Brown throws out a powerful jab. Tang is rocked! Tang avoids the head kick by Brown.
Tang is still on wobbly legs! Can Brown finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! Tang takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Tang checks a leg kick nicely. Tang looks like he wants to counter punch here. Tang swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Brown drops Tang with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Tang! Brown dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fliphead manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gutierrez on his heels. He'll look to pass Gutierrez 's guard now, I'm sure. Fliphead gets to his feet - Gutierrez follows without any prompting. Gutierrez lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Gutierrez lands a jab. Gutierrez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fliphead to score an easy takedown into full guard. Fliphead slips nicely into half guard. Fliphead content to control rather than advance. Gutierrez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fliphead. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fliphead lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fliphead looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Fliphead is pressing down on Gutierrez 's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gutierrez is holding on for now. Gutierrez tries to roll over but Fliphead keeps him under control. Fliphead controlling the action here. Fliphead passes to full mount!

and Gutierrez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Gutierrez thumps Fliphead with a low kick. Fliphead has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. It looks like Jonny Fliphead has been cut. Gutierrez digs a good body shot into Fliphead's ribs. Fliphead is breathing heavily. Fliphead clinches with his opponent.

Gutierrez throws an uppercut from hell that sends Fliphead clean off his feet! He's out cold! Gutierrez stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Von Killjoy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Conway! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conway misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Killjoy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Conway feints a counter leg kick. Conway misses with a double jab.
Conway shoots for a double leg takedown but Killjoy sprawls well. He's pushed Conway's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Killjoy throws a quick counter kick to the body but Conway avoids it. Killjoy has taken the fight to the clinch.
Conway pulls guard successfully.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Killjoy controls from within his opponent's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Killjoy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Conway can't keep his opponent in guard - Killjoy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Killjoy controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killjoy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Conway keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Killjoy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Killjoy seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Killjoy is trying to work for a kimura but Conway is defending well.
Killjoy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Killjoy controlling the action here. Killjoy sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Conway defending well though. Conway is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Conway avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Killjoy. Conway wants to get back to full guard but Killjoy has passed into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Killjoy in side control, just content to control the action for now. Killjoy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Conway is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The ground and pound from Killjoy seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Conway tries to bench press Killjoy off him but Killjoy keeps the position. Conway wants to control but Killjoy postures up. The ground and pound from Killjoy seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Von Killjoy dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Killjoy drives through with a takedown into Conway's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Killjoy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Conway can do to turn this around? Killjoy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Conway swivels though and keeps the full guard. Conway can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Killjoy controls the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Killjoy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killjoy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Conway is keeping the position for now. Conway trying to keep a closed guard but Killjoy is proving a slippery customer.
Killjoy tries to stand but Conway is controlling from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Conway gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Killjoy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Conway jumps guard but Killjoy stands there with Conway around his waist. Conway gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Killjoy will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Conway up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Killjoy gets control of Conway's arms and successfully pulls guard. Killjoy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Von Killjoy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Killjoy seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Conway won't allow Killjoy to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Killjoy has control of Conway's left arm, preventing Conway from doing any damage. Conway wants to get up but he can't break Killjoy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Conway must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Killjoy wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Conway dives in for a single leg takedown but Killjoy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Von Killjoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Conway. Killjoy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Conway wants to stand back up but Killjoy manages to pass into side control.
Killjoy is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Conway looks calm but he's in trouble here. Killjoy gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Conway is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Killjoy lets go of the hold and Conway can pop his arm back in it's socket.
