MccGregor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roberto pinned against the cage. Roberto gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Jackson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Chonen lands a body shot.

Jackson cracks Chonen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Chonen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jackson finish him?
Oh Chonen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chonen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jackson throws out a counter right but Chonen avoids it with no problem.
Jackson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jackson lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Chonen up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Jackson from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Chonen's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Will Jackson!
