The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodgers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chavaski tries to avoid it but Rodgers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chavaski to the ground. Chavaski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rodgers shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chavaski's guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mushroom moves in looking to clinch but Luciano pushes him off.
Mushroom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Luciano swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mushroom clinches.
Mushroom blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Mushroom misses with a short punch on the inside.

and Luciano counters with a crisp one two that drops Mushroom! Luciano thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mushroom to his feet! Mushroom is in big trouble!

Mushroom gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Luciano points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Mushroom wakes up just in time to hear Luciano thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

In his post fight interview, Ricky Luciano started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
